Capricorn Coast Visitor Information Centre

Decided to not stop at Rockhampton but come visit Yeppoon, at the information centre we were warmly greeted by Lyn & Ros, they rang around and found us a caravan park to stay in. Shared their wealth of knowledge for the area.
Both were excellent ambassadors for this area 😊👏

Staff at the information desk were so friendly and helpful, thank you for your ideas. They took in what our interests were and shared tours that we would enjoy. The shell shop was incredibly beautiful and lots to look at and learn from. Great prices for shells. Staff very friendly. 🌸🐚

Great information centre, make sure you have a look through the Shell collection housed there. Beautifully set out with a spectacular collection of shells. Best we have ever seen. Well done to all involved.

The staff was very informative and helpful. Answered all of my queries and gave me plenty of local info and suggestions of things to do, hiking trails and places to eat. If you're going to Yeppoon pop in and see the people there. You won't be disappointed.

Handy information centre highlighting the best tourist experiences the Capricorn coast has to offer. Free maps and brochures available as well as friendly helpful information provided by the lovely people that work there. Make sure you checkout the fantastic shells on show in shellworld which is situated inside the information centre. Gold coin donation and run by friendly volunteers you'll be amazed by some of the amazing shells on display. Featuring shells found on our local Australian beaches to shells from different parts of the world. Highly recommend calling in on your travels.
