Vue Wine Bar & Restaurant

Went here and shared the seafood platter for 2. Misses doesnt eat fresh oyesters so got them changed to kilpatrick no dramas at all, the young lady serving us was very good to deal with. The fresh seafood Was fresh and tasty, the cooked seafood was also very tasty, nice chill atmosphere looking over yeppoon main beach.

The food, service and the atmosphere are all really nice. I love the scallop on pork belly and the ice cream cocktail is absolutely beautiful as well. It is still as good as 5 years ago when I first ate there.

My experience was fantastic, I ordered the seafood platter for 1, it was plentiful and delicious. The service was wonderful and friendly. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. I was very pleased with my dinner and can happily say it was the best seafood platter I’ve ever had. Many compliments to the chef.

My family and I dined here on the last night of our holiday in Queensland to celebrate my partner's birthday. Best decision we made the whole trip.

First the constructive criticism...Dining outside was lovely but keeping the umbrellas up at night cuts down on the light. At first it was too dark to read the menu but they did bring out some table lamps which helped a little but also cut down on the available area on the table and we were a large group. So not a great start. The staff were very helpful and I can't fault their effort to assist. The only other concern was at the end. No split bills! Each of our group standing next to the manager and paying for what they ate was a bit...clunky. And when the total was in the $1000+ range expecting one person to get the tab and reclaim money isn't an option (for me at least).

But that is it for the bad. The food was astonishingly good and if their sous-chef isn't the highest paid person in the kitchen they/he/she should be! Across our 11 diners we covered everything from the seafood to the pizza with some lamb and beef cheek ragu thrown in. All of it was as good as anything I've eaten in the best resteraunts here in Melbourne. But the Sauces were the the biggest winner. The cauliflower puree under the scallops left me looking for other things to get the last little bit out and the sauce on the scallops which came with the seafood platter was even better. Over at the ribs plate I couldn't stop stealing my sister's dinner for the red wine jus. The dipping sauces that came for the prawns and calamari battled in my mouth to make me pick a winner between them. But even without sauces, the meals and sides were just amazing. The duck spring rolls were a massive hit and the pumpkin with chilli was so good I ordered a second dish. It would be astretch to find any fault with the food. The fish may have been a tad dry but you always had a sauce to liven it up.

As I said before the staff were really helpful and attentive (almost to the point of me saying No, for the 100th time, I really don't want another drink!). Which reminds me, the cocktails were pretty good too. I've never had a whiskey Sour made with Jim beam before and I didn't have high expectations but it was actually really good. The wine selection was also excellent and the Yarra Valley drop we had made us feel at home.

Overall I have to say the food overcame all minor issues and this was a proper 5 star meal.

A friend said, try the seafood platter. So we ordered the shared option, being our wedding anniversary, and were most satisfied. Cooked to perfection!

We had a beautiful lunch here. The warm Chicken Salad was amazing; very fresh and tasted great. Spring rolls and Sweet Potato fries were also on point.

Atmosphere is upmarket for a beachside restaurant which was also nice.

We had the most beautiful dinner at Vue on Sunday night for my birthday. There were 7 adults & 2 children & we all loved our entrees & main meals so much. Everything was perfect. Treat yourself to a French Martini while you’re there 👌 Thank you Tanya & team we will be back

We had a lovely dinner at Vue last night for our Wedding Anniversary, could not fault the food or beverages we chose, service was attentive and friendly… nothing was too much trouble. I wanted to leave a review as this restaurant has had a few bad ones and we nearly didn’t go because of them and we are visitors to Yeppoon and didn’t want to waste our special night out. The reviews that have been negative from our point of view are rubbish… this restaurant is definitely worth going to!!

Wow Vue!!! Absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to return to try other options on your menu. Service and ambience perfect. A quick impromptu lunch turned into a beautiful experience.

Loved the feel of this venue the moment we walked in. Greeted by polite staff, served amazing food and made us feel super welcome and appreciated. Amazing experience.

Happy Hour 3 - 5 with $12 cocktails and Tapas also great menu as well. My son Evan and his girlfriend Claire rate this place highly

Absolutely loved this place!!!! Honestly the food was incredible. We ordered more entrees after we ate ours. Followed by mains and dessert!! Kids lives their meals too. The lamb rack was perfect! As were the scallops, octopus and pizzas. I am gluten and dairy free and they had so many options and happily catered for me :-)

Great place, with good staff and a gorgeous fitout. The bar is comprehensive, and menu falls somewhere around Italian / Mediterranean.

The entrè of haloumi and garlic bread were unreal. Particularly the fig, honey and walnut haloumi cheese. The flavours were exciting and bold - a reason enough to visit.

The pizzas ordered were good, especially for the price, but the papardelle ragu was the standout.

A very nice and potentially romantic venue for your visit to beautiful Yepoon.

Great food & service. Mains came out quickly, but had a bit of a wait time between main & desert orders being taken. Restaurant became very busy so it was understandable. Highly recommend the Lamb Rump & Risotto 👌

Has beautiful views and gets a nice atmosphere being right across from the beach. Food was amazing and there's enough variety to have a wine for any occasion.

Undoubtedly the pinnacle of dinning out in Yeppoon.

The quality of the food and the mannerisms of the staff is absolutely impeccable.

I highly recommend Vue for the best dinning experience in town.
