Blue Heron Boutique Motel

I was pleasantly surprised with how clean and well-managed the place is. It is relatively affordable, especially when you book directly via their website, so my expectations were not very high. But the room was thoroughly cleaned and the facilities were well-maintained. The young lady at the reception desk was very welcoming and accommodating.
Although it may not be considered a prime location, it was reasonably close to major beaches and walking distance to a large grocery and liquor mart.

Lovely motel. Nice rooms and pool. Close to restaurants and the endless gold coast beach. Very friendly and accommodating service - my son and I were on road tour back to Sydney and enjoyed the stay a lot! How surprising to learn that the owner is Austrian (my son has been born in Vienna, where I lived for 4 years). Nice encounter on the other side of the globe.

Lovely modern cabin, very comfortable, and was quieter than we expected considering its proximity to the road. Nice owners. One negative is that we were woken at approx 8.30 every morning by what sounded like a trolley being dragged around, not what you want when you’re on holiday!

Stayed here with my partner for Supanova weekend 13-14/04/2024, it was wonderful, we could walk to the beach and relax in the room or by the pool as it was all on the ground floor handy for bringing suitcases in and out.

Owner's were lovely and very helpful with questions about a taxi or bus to the convention.

Would definitely stay again.

Stayed for 3 nights from Sunday. Very clean room. Big bathroom. Small motel which is perfect. Less foot traffic. Easy parking. Aircon in room (high humidity currently). Roadworks on the Gold Coast Highway but heard no noise. Ear plugs are supplied. Pool available. Seamless online booking. Friendly reception. Minutes from the beach. Would definitely stay again.

Really nice place. A few .minutes walk from nobby's beach and a chilled out area to stay in. Room was clean and there was plenty of off street parking. Each room seems to face the pool, so when kids are in the pool it can get a little noisy. Staff are friendly and this area has it all. We love to eat at itoshin, musonramen, mermaid beach SLSC, cafe gourmand and drinks from milkmans daughter

Lovely little and compact motel room. Definitely recommend staying here. The shower alone felt like it had a fan fitted in.

A lovely motel with a tropical feel, a lovely pool in the centre surrounded by the rooms and a cabana with seating and a bbq.

Sweet little motel in Gold Coast. Location is very central and walking distance to the beach. Nice and quiet, clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff.

Amazing little get away, felt real Palm Springs and like a little community. Nice pool and bbq area, barely any noise and just felt homely. 🥰

We stopped by during the road trip and made a reservation for that day, but the staff were all friendly, the rooms were beautiful, and the pool was beautiful. It's close to the sea, and I'll come back here again when I come to the Gold Coast.

This is the second time we have stayed here and in the same room both times.
Everything about this motel is fabulous, beautiful clean rooms, fabulous pool, BBQ, short walk to the beach and many eateries very close by. The staff are very helpful and we'll definately be back again.

My Wife and me had an amazing stay and will definitely be back. Everything was great and the location is fantastic.

It had great reviews and it’s a huge relief to arrive and know it matches!
The lady at check in was warm and kind and showed me to our room and the man at check out was friendly and kind to the children too.
The room was impeccably clean, fresh and comfortable, with nicely made beds and we felt safe and secure. Great location, hardly any road noise despite being so close to the highway and the kids enjoyed an afternoon dip in the pool even though it was a bit cool!

A great experience highly recommend fantastic pool and hot tub. The owner was very helpful and kind.

Gorgeous little motel. Great location, Woolies, cafes, restaurants close by.
On the bus route. Was not noisy at all considering it’s on GC HWY.
Pool was a bonus as the beach was very windy.
Will definitely stay again.

What a fantastic place to stay, the rooms are lovely, spotlessly clean, fresh white sheets and all you could possibly need. A lovely clean pool and bbq area. Good location not far to the action and a short walk to the beach. Friendly staff and reasonably priced. We would definitely recommend. We will be back if up this way again. Thank you.

What a gem of a hotel!! Our room was super clean and spacious with all the amenities you could ask for. Lovely outdoor space with great pool. Owners were really friendly and helpful. We would 100% recommend this hotel. Thank you again for a great stay 🙂
