It's always a pleasure dealing with Advance Mechanicals. They seem to be honest and give genuine advice. They don't overcharge for things or advise you to get things fixed that don't need fixing. Good customer service and will try to accommodate urgent needs.

I am not their regular customer. I had a flat battery nearly today across the road 300m away. Called their number and two guys came to rescue.
I drove to their workshop and had my battery changed. No fuss nor prolonged waiting time. Very reasonable price. Thank them for helping so that my trip home was as smooth as could be.

Very professional knowledge, service and quality work for a small business. I have brought many cars to Bill from new cars to old to highly modified and these guys keep suprising me every single time. Dealerships need to learn off this business! Toyota charged me double for a car with 10,000km and did half the work these guys do in a service. All mechanics charge for knowledge but these guys dont charge a single cent on top for honesty and help out any way they can. Dont listen to these warranty scammer reviews! Highly reccommend for all mechanical work.

93 Beaudesert Road; Moorooka’s best kept Mechanical secret : Advanced Mechanical Centre. Dropped my 2018 Golf off early on Monday morning ( no notice) and it was ready to go just after lunch. For a total of $769.00 they machined my four discs, replaced all brake pads, performed the full Golf book service (oil, filter, fluids and requisite checks, removed a tyre nail and investigated tyre faults. I must say I was very impressed. Murray, the adroit Motor Mac that worked on my Golf was no nonsense, old school and extremely knowledgeable. I was so impressed I dropped a couple of cartons of beer off from my stocks for the first class professional crew. Thanks AMC. I’ll be back.

PS I had intended to replace the pads myself - until I discovered I’d need a special programme to wind back the electric handbrake!

Today my faith in mechanical repairers has been restored. Polite, go the extra mile, friendly and helpful experience. I certainly will be back for all motor vehicle service and repair needs and happy to recommend them to anyone.

This place is run by the most kind, loving and understanding person I’ve ever known. The mechanics they employ are experts and they explained everything to us from a to z. The price was exactly what the job was worth, and Bill (the boss) helped us with getting stuff done in no time.

I've been looking for a good local mechanic that i can trust and I've found them. They serviced my car and the price was fantastic. Didn't rip me off one bit and called me first to advise on my battery. I didn't tell them about my battery when i took it in but they picked it up as faulty so i know they are thorough. I recommend this family run business to anyone. Also, car was cleaned inside and out which was totally unexpected.

Great service! Quick, efficient and most importantly HONEST! These guys will tell you exactly what is wrong with your car and advise if you need to fix it or can wait. They won't hustle to get every penny out of you (even if you want to give it to them anyway) 😅 will definitely be back!

Very friendly and helpful employees. Did a car service there and they checked the car also for other things that were faulty, gave me a quick ring and repaired it afterwards. Excellent service and reasonable pricing. I would do my next service also at their shop.
