Montego Mermaid Beach Motel

Had a great experience here with my family.
The price was very affordable and came with a much nicer room than other places we stayed on our trip for the same cost.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful, assisting us with checking in late, we were also welcomed to our room with a complimentary Christmas gift of a box of chocolates.
I would definitely recommend giving them a go, yes there are more luxurious places to stay but considering the cost this place wins.

Booked at roughly 11:45pm and still managed to get in and sleep with no issues, keys were left in a safety deposit box and the contact number went straight through.

Amazing stay! Beautiful outdoor area, wonderful for children. The rooms are spacious and the staff are lovely. Was very comfortable here and so close to everything. Will be staying again :)

We were greeted by friendly staff, the rooms are clean, comfortable and newly renovated, location is handy to the beach, cafes and right across the road from Woolies Metro. Very well priced. Highly recommend.

The staff is so polite and helpful. I love my room. However, there was a road work during my stay but it went quiet after around 9:00 p.m, which didn’t disturb my sleep. The bathroom and kitchen are clean. The location is the best, near the beach, bus stop and restaurant. I would recommend this motel to anyone who want the perfect location for travelling. 👍

For a standard motel we have no complaints, clean room, basic facilities, TV and WiFi microwave, etc. The outdoor area by the pool was a special touch with nice gardens and lounge areas with games. Cute Cafe attached. Excellent location walking to the beach and next to supermarket and complex with good food/cafe selections. Yes it's on a highway so there is the car hum and occassional rev but it's expected and for a modest trip away was definitely worth it being so near the beach for a cheaper price. We had no issue with parking, we found a space and then just walked everywhere during our stay so kept it no problem!

Would definitely stay here again. The room was clean. There was a kitchenette with microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster, tea coffee, water bottles bikkies.. ac and a tv. The only reason i didn't give 5 stars was that room 9 remote for the fan n light wasn't working. But its probably just a battery issue. The motel is right on the highway but noise was only light... not a problem for me. It was opposite woolies metro and super close to some awesome restaurants only 5 minutes walk away. Parking was easy, right out front. I arrived and booked at the last minute after hours and the manager came as soon as i rang him. And the price was great. Thanks for the stay!

Really appreciated the staffs attentiveness and positive energy. We enjoyed our stay immensely. This accommodation was comfortable and made a great affordable holiday on the Gold Coast.
The pool facilities were beautiful!

Really easy to get to and super friendly staff. Parking was great, right out the front. Our room was clean and comfy.. Bonus points for the unicorn in the pool. Thanks guys

Great place to stay. The owner is so lovely. Very helpful. They have upgraded the rooms and they are beautifully furnished. Everything we needed for a 2-night stay with 4 children. Not to far from the tram line to get to surfers as well. Definitely well priced. Worth the 5 stars for keeping comfort as a must!

We stayed for 2 nights & loved it. Perfect for what we wanted, if you are on a tight budget & only need somewhere to sleep, shower & eat brekky then its a better, cheaper option.
Close to the beach, close to major shopping, & close to many food outlets & stores.
The staff were amazing even when we couldn't make our original booking due to flooding they happily kept our booking for next available day we could travel.
My daughter was sick the first night due to travel & over excitement of the beach & owner happily gave us fresh linen for our beds & extra towels to use the pool.
All in all a big thumbs up & thank you for making us feel welcome & understanding. It was our mini home away from home.
We plan to come back.

Very convenient. The room has been recently renovated and rooms are clean. Staff at reception went above and beyond to meet my needs.

Lovely little motel! The management here are wonderful, the rooms are very clean, beds comfy, the pool looks so inviting, even in the middle of winter! I would recommend this place 110%

Well priced room, clean and very quiet considering there was quite a few kids there. We just needed a bed for the night and this was great for that.
