The area is nice and quiet, close enough to walk to The Rocks busy areas but far enoigh from the noise. Nice pub with a lot of history. Visited the pub but not the hotel. The brew is nice, good selection of beers, I went for the pale ale and is tasty. Burger is above average is the pubs businesses.

I love the Nelson. It's my favourite place to visit when in Sydney. We visited for lunch on ANZAC day and there was still a choice of seating - a nice surprise as its often pretty busy. Love the beer, atmosphere, service, food and especially the location, history and architecture. As always the pie mash and mushy peas with gravy and mustard didn't disappoint. It's a must have.

Great location especially if you're staying there before or after a cruise. It's uphill from the port so be prepared to pull your luggage but doable! Burn more calories with no elevator getting your luggage up the stairs but worth the effort! Clean, comfortable, spacious room, great rates, accommodating with luggage storage, historic hotel, brewery and restaurant! Highly recommended!

One of my favourite pubs in Sydney of not the favourite. Food is better than your average pub food but the beer and the ambience is the star of the show here, imo. They've been making their own (great) beers here before everyman and his dog started a brewery,

Meets all expectations of a great pub in a great location. I have been coming to the Lord Nelson for many years and have always been greeted by friendly and genuine staff. In house brewery provides great taste sensations supported with a fresh pub style menu. The pub' s history blends in beautifully with today's modern world.

What a wonderful experience. So much history. Fantastic vibe with friendly staff and amazing beer brewed on the premises. The brewer even took time to come and chat to us over the bar about his award winning dark ale.

Great secluded brewery nestled in Millers Point, yet the main bar and restaurant is always packed throughout the week. Sonia and her team gladly booked the entire upstairs floor for our group on a Tuesday evening with ample space. The wide range of beers on tap are not to be missed - if you're after a place for a cheeky mid week drink just a stroll away from The Rocks, Lord Nelson is worth the experience.

Great beer and reasonable prices for food. I ordered steak and Old Admiral beer. Really enjoyed the service as well. Next time I go to Sydney this place is definitely on a list to visit. Thank you guys)

One of the best places to get a pint in downtown Sydney. Laid back, off the beaten track, hearty English-style pub with friendly staff, great food, beer tasting boards, all reasonably priced. Book a table ahead if coming with kids. Mondays are $12 pies with mushy peas! :P

Highly recommend visiting the bar. Good selection of beers on tap and a good variety on the menu. We enjoyed the beef pie and the ranger’s valley wagyu burger. The fries were cooked perfectly!

We didn't eat or stay, but very much enjoyed drinking here.

Lovely atmosphere, good beer (that's the best ale I've tasted since being in Aus) and very friendly / helpful staff.

It was a friday evening so got busy with people leaving the office, but I am looking forward to doing again.

I didn't stay there. This is for the pub only. Great place to meet up with friends or have a casual lunch. Spacious tables. Good variety of food with generous servings for some of the dishes. The door is left often so you get a nice breeze. It's not too noisy so you can actually hear your companions. There's parking right outside.

Can only speak to the pub, which is as authentic as it comes. Brews abound! Intimate, and friendly a great local if you live near by. Highly recommend for all. P.s. no painkillers.

What a great place for an overnight stay in the city, so friendly on check in and the room was so clean and comfortable. Went to a function that was held in the brewery downstairs and the food was fantastic and their beers are great. Will definitely make this my place to stay for future visits to the city 👍 thanks guys .

Stayed the night ( a Sunday) for our anniversary, very happy with the room, plenty of space, nicely decorated and all the charm of such an old building. I'm a light sleeper and thought it would be noisy , but apart from a siren ( gonna happen in the city ) going past early in the evening, slept very well. Already thinking of going back next anniversary !

Love this brewery, high on the rocks. I stayed there pre plague but no rooms available on my last trip. Well maintained, good beer brewed a few meters from the taps, interesting specials (tinned fish). A real gem.

Tremendous beers and great atmosphere. Wouldn't go anywhere else to get a beer in Sydney. The three sheets beer is an absolute stomper of a beer.
