Delicious!! We took the family and it was beautiful food. The chef was delightful and creates so many happy flavours.

Note: If you are thinking it will be the mesh Korean BBQ with small pieces of meat cooked at the table, then think again. They bring the dishes all out on a cast iron wok, but it is no less delicious. I've shared some pics so you can see.

Great night out! Our server James was so wonderful, nothing was a problem (and funny). Food was AMAZING! So well priced with good size servings- chef was also very engaging and happy to share interesting information about Korean food! Thanks James for a great night

Food and service always amazing, lots of love and care goes into preparation and presentation of the food. The complimentary salad is beautiful (only dine in so not available atm) - I'm from Sydney and when I want a bit of Korean food this is where I'd go, the atmosphere is really great for date nights or a casual dine in during the week. Would highly recommend, especially the raw fish bibimbap 👍👍

New favourite date spot! Might not look like much from the outside but this hidden little gem is wonderful! The food was so fresh and absolutely delicious. They made sure everything was vegan, really the waiter and the chef both were delightful. They were so friendly and helpful. We had the mungbean pancake, the fried dumplings and the sizzling rice bowl. SO GOOD! We've officially added it to our roster of favourite eats. Highly recommend.

I was really surprised. Very cheap price where owner is cooking the food, kimchi is fresh. All food me and my partner had can certify as awesome. I am happy for another business to be awesome even though Covid issues.

Pleasantly surprised, the food was great, especially beef. I believe the owner does the cooking. After we finished with the meal, it felt just like home cooking. Excellent. Portions just right, just over $50 for two.

Food was delicious, service was great and fast. We ordered the “set menu 1” which was generous and very reasonably priced for the quality and quantity of food.
Would definitely eat here again.

Great service, polite & helpful staff. Prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is very clean & tidy. Their menu is extensive, everyone will find their favourite meal to try. We had the chicken curry & the beef bulgogi, both delicious & very filling. This is a place you will enjoy coming back to! They have a refreshing range fruit smoothies but their machine was broken, I will try it out on my return visit, along with their “croffle dessert” which is a cross between a croissant & waffle.

I have yet to find better food in Newcastle

Excellent value, I ordered the vegetarian bibimbap and we were served free salad, soup, and four small side dishes that we weren't expecting. Everything was delicious and the owner was very kind, staying open a bit past closing for us and offering free candies when we paid. A great experience and we'd definitely go back!

Dinner with friends last night was great. The mixed steamed dumplings and spring rolls for starters followed by two Korean BBQ dishes cooked at the table were excellent. Very fresh and extremely tasty. We will be back!

This is what happens when you practise something for 20 years. I used to eat here way back when I was a student, and dropped in with kids on my way through town.

The place is as an unfussy as I remember. The service as friendly. But the food... everything is simply and perfectly done. The kimchi pancake was the best I’ve ever had. Same with the spring rolls, and the barbecue.

I’ve seen a few posts questioning whether this is authentic Korean. I’m no expert but maybe that’s the point. They’ve started with a base and painstakingly refined it for 20 years, and that comes through in everything they do.

Great food, excellent service. What more could you want.

Second time visiting here and just as lovely as the first. Had the set for 2 and very pleased with the outstanding taste. Very fresh and inviting atmosphere and the young man who waited for us was a delight! Great value for money too.

Ordered entree fried mini dumplings, for mains we ordered bibimbap and hot pot noodles. Fried mini dumplings was definitely the star of the show. Deep fried with a bubbly crispy skin and really juicy pork veggie mince in the middle. Bibimbap was also delicious and a great way to introduce yourself to Korean cuisine. Hot pot noodles had a mixture of different ingredients including mushrooms, cabbage, dumplings, Udon noodles, prawns. It's a great size portion for two people and there's also a few little side dishes too that are complimentary. Will definitely recommend coming here!

Consistently good food, good value, and personable service from the two guys running this place (keep it up!)! Comparable, if not better than Korean joints in Sydney, a definite gem in Newcastle.

Great little local restaurant. Nice and cosy for a date night or small group of friends. Authentic Korean cuisine served with a smile. Have been visiting for 10 years and has always been good food and service.
