After reading a few earlier reviews, I'm noticing a trend. Jane (the store manager) is fantastic. And I have to agree with all the previous reviews that say she is. She was very helpful and followed up to make sure I was happy and made the correct purchase. great customer service.

Excellent customer experience. The sales rep understood our needs, and selected a vacuum that was suitable for us.
He showed us the Tyneco range, and thoroughly convinced us of its quality. We originally intended to purchase a Dyson, and went to David Jones to try them, and felt immediately that the Tyneco was superior. We returned to godfreys, and purchased the Tyneco Pure One S11.
I appreciated the honesty of the sales representatives, who were upfront about the advantages, disadvantages, costs, and lifetime expectations for their machines. The fact that Godfrey's have their own servicing department gave me strong confidence in my purchase.
We have used the vacuum at home, and are extremely satisfied with it.

I don't think I'll return to Godfrey's again after my experince. Purchased a vacuum cleaner online during COVID19 it stopped working completely would not turn on.

Took it back to the store to be told that they wouldn't be able to give me any trade in value as it was not working they refused my rights under Australian consumer law by telling me I only had 10 days to return the product for a refund.

Despite all of this I was happy to choose another machine and pay the difference but again they refused to refund the purchase price on my original vacuum.

After over an hour in store being practically hounded to spend an extra $350 on a better "second hand" machine, i left with a different product with a similar price of my original vacuum.

The English woman serving me stunk of nicotine and had a smoker's cough. Completely unhelpful. Would not recommend.

Dreadful experience and unreliable customer service. Basics are not in place such as taking details of your customers so they can follow up. Each time you call they ask for your details only to be told they have no clue. Misleading information every time you call whether thats central hub or shop itself. Do not recommend this particular store or the company to deal with.
