Great store for prices and service. Bought a board and when it came it had some minor issues. They warrantied it and sorted it all out. Recommend

Went in without doing any research to pick up a new board and binding set up. The gent gave me some suggestions and ultimately I walked out with a Yes / Pyzel collab board and flux bindings. Was looking for a fun do everything type of board. Took it for a ride yesterday and it ripped. Best day out in years. Couldn't be happier with the set up or the service. Highly recommend the shop. Great prices, great advice.

Have been buying stuff from these guys for over a decade. Customer service hasn't changed, they always put you first when gear goes bad due to manufacturing defects. Lots of knowledge in the staff. Make this your first stop for all your resort and back country snowboard gear.

Really great experience. Staff were all extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. In particular Tony and Adam, who really knew everything there was to know and took the time to explain key differences between boards. Also loved having the opportunity to demo the boards before committing to the purchase. Highly recommend.

If you need to hire snow gear for your trip, this is the right place. Not only the price of hire is a reasonable price the service here is great. Just make sure you come in earlier to pick up your gear as it will take time to fit. Also hiring online is cheaper!

I had a really great customer service experience with Brodie and Clint. After describing my riding style and preferences, the guys recommended I buy Ride Insano boots, Ride Smokescreen board and Flux XF bindings. These recommendations were spot on and I love the new setup. I cannot recommend this store highly enough and I will be shopping at this store for gear from now on!

Rented boots for 7 days for 60$. I’ve got old skis with weird bindings but they will still able to bind them 👍. Good service good price high quality close to the information centre .

Amazing service, great advice! After I had done one season on a second hand board I decided to treat myself and invest in a board that suits my riding style, height and weight. I was a bit clueless on what to buy as there are so many options these days. The staff at Cherri Pow was so kind and patient! We rented a variety of snow-savvy equipment from these guys, fitted with patience and a keenness to solve any issues we had with sizing.
Even though the staff that mainly helped us were newly hired, they showed broad knowledge of snow sports. All round very easy process.

Tony is amazing and knows his stuff in regards to snowboards and boots! He was patient and spent a lot of time discussing the perfect snowboard for me and organised for me to demo snowboards as well.

Tony also fitted my wife into her snowboard boots (32 Lashed) after she struggled with getting the right boot fit at multiple stores.

Fantastic staff. I went in looking at possibly getting new boots to help with foot pain. They gave me advice about shifting binding angles instead and now my foot pain is gone. Will definitely be starting here when it’s really time for new gear. Very welcoming to beginners.

Awesome experience, the staff are extremely helpful, knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. I continually kicked tyres in the shop asking a million and one questions, they were totally unfazed, thanks for the great service and advice!

I walked into Pow initially expecting to check out some last season snowboard gear but ended up walking away with a brand new setup in time for Japan. This is because Tony and Brody did such a good job in explaining answers to my questions, offering expertise and also their own first-hand reviews on gear that they have actually ridden on. Furthermore, they only stock gears that are up to scratch and not run of the mill standard issue, such as being only one of three stockist for Never Summer snowboards (one of the best niche snowboard you can buy), also stocking Flux bindings which is rare in Australia, etc. Tony and Brody, keep up the great work and I'm sure I'll be seeing you guys again during the Australian snow season!

Super Friendly staff! Plenty of stock for all things you need for the snow! We hired most of our stuff and they were extremely accommodating and really looked after our group well!

There is nothing better than a dedicated store that stocks quality gear and even better, knowledgeable staff with a passion for the end result. They ask you the questions that fit you to the most suitable equipment. A lost art in today's web environment but it really makes a huge difference !!

Last Monday night,sep 14 I brought a new 'Never Summer' snowboard from Cherri Pow Pow.
Tues 15th I was awake @ 3am 'so keen' to ride this new board! by 5an I was up 'ready to roll' campfire 🔥 breakfast & At Perisher tube station by 8am, train to Blue Cow, traverse to Guthega 'on ice' then boarded for an hour by myself until arround 10am in freshly groomed!.. This new board's a weapon!.. if you haven't ridden one & you're a miidle aged or older surfer.. then you seriously need to!
I had a Nitro team Gullwimg (which I loved) however the difference was such a contrast that the new 'Never Summer' is a freak'n stealth missile & some!!
So 1st day riding Never Summer after smashing mother in-laws to get used to it, I then smoked Zalis @ speed.. Brumbies & mt Perisher including Leichardts Park etc jumps, under the chair.. Un fkn believable!!! all in 1 day!.. the next day I bee lined to Mt Perisher & Eyre and boarded until I was sick & had to sleep all afternoon!
Im 56years old, only started snowboarding 2 seasons ago..
Clint @ Cherri Pow Pow did me the best deal EVER & had he not chose that board after viewing some footage of me riding I Never would've experienced the awsome pleasure of carving down steep runs sending snow❄ everywhere!
Clint also set me up with new bindings & boots all at reduced prices so he gave me a package deal similar to the price of a new board... Shane was also way cool, & supportive
Ive been eyeing off the Never summer boards for a year (droolimg) knowing that "if only...$"?..
So if you're wondering should I??? .. then, yes you should!!!
& send it everwhere all the time! ❄
Your life will change for the better & you'll know why you love snowboarding so much! Do it while you can..

good service and really good knowledge about products. Definitely knew what they were talking about. Clean and tidy shop with a good range of products from boards to bindings and outerwear. Would highly recommend monster sports as a place to buy snow gear :)
