Lumus Imaging Brookvale

I would give them 6 stars if I could, I should have written this review in mid December when I originally went for my MRI. I just didn't know where to start.

Leading up to my appointment I spoke with Colleen mainly, sometimes Mel and Vicky. Each time they listened patiently and helped me with any questions I had.

When I arrived early for my appointment, I was quiet anxious about having the MRI. I was greeted with a big smile from Colleen and Mel. Colleen also presented me a ginger bread man she had made for the staff for Christmas. We were joking that I could have another one once I had completed my MRI.

Mel took me in to the MRI room to show me around and to meet CJ the lady who would be doing the MRI, Mel explained that sometimes that helped people feel a little more comfortable. Mel was so calm and pleasant listening to my concerns as she took me around to the MRI room.

CJ was just superb and so professional, CJ was just so incredibly kind and caring and explained everything and made sure I was comfortable and talked to me through the procedure and how long it would take and how many scans I had to go and how long it would take.

It made the whole experience bearable knowing that I had a highly knowledgeable compassionate professional looking after me and really cared about my welfare.

You can listen to your own music through the headphones which helps.

When I went out to reception I was joking with Colleen, Mel and Vicky that I had made it. Colleen presented me with another Gingerbread man. It was delicious.

It might not seem like a big deal but when your not feeling your best it makes such a difference to have kind, friendly , professional knowledge people making your day just that bit better.

Thank you all so much. If I ever had to have another MRI this is the only place I will be going to have it.

Fantastic experience ! Totally understanding & professional approach to patients. The radiologist is very knowledgeable & explain things clearly. The staff at the front desk Colleen is very friendly and informative. This branch is my go to place for scans.

Colleen at the reception has a very good tone of voice and extremely helpful.

Super confused by all the negative comments. I was apprehensive about my appointment after reading all the negative reviews, but everything went fine.
People seem to want roses and rainbows everywhere they go but a technician sees multiple people a day. And if you can get through your appointment with someone who explains what's going to happen and answers your questions, then why isn't that enough?
I didn't get big smiles or small talk but thats okay. I was made to feel comfortable and I knew if I had questions or concerns I could raise them.
Staff in the reception area were great, booking appointment was easy.

I rarely leave reviews but after reading all those bad reviews I have to add my experience to do right by the wonderful staff there. Great communication, got called back instantly, they bulk billed me where others wanted to charge hundreds of dollars and they gave their all to find out what settings for the MRI I need for my ear implant. The technician herself contacted doctors and finally found out which implant I have and which Settings they had to use to scan me - all in a matter of a couple of days with constant contact via email with me. I was more than impressed. I’m sure there are days when things don’t go as smooth but the effort the staff went through to help me was mind blowing. Thank you to everyone at Lumus Brookvale

The receptionists were nice and the radiologist was very gentle and friendly with me.

After a long wait on the phone on hold a very nice lady named Belinda attended to my inquiry in the most uplifting and cheerful manner, I was booked in for the following day. After a short wait it was my turn staff were helpful and it was all over in a short time.

Lowest cost MRI on the Northern Beaches. No wait time and good service!

Just great thanks

After booking a appointment I was sceptical after reading the bad reviews, but went in for a ultra sound. No wait time. Fine appointment. Don’t knock it till you try it people. Only issue is they are hopeless at answering there phone.

I have always had a simple and positive experience here.

Used to be great but now never answers their phones. On hold for over 20mins every time I call. Doesn’t matter what time of day. Cannot get hold of them to make or even cancel appointments for that matter.

Made a tentative booking and was told to wait for confirmation, heard nothing.

I called to confirm and they booked me in.
I received a call an hour before the appointment that it had been cancelled, saying I needed to fast for an mri on my toe. When saying I hadn’t eaten anything they said then said the booking wasn’t long enough for this type of mri.

So many bad reviews about the booking and handling of clients, you’d think it might be a wake up call?
