To all the team at Granite Transformations Nepean,

We would like to thank you all for the beautiful kitchen that we now have.
To John who came out and quoted and measured and took phone calls when I was stressing.
To Liz who answered my calls and helped us choose our bench top that looks lovely and goes well.
To Trent who came and ripped our old kitchen out, we were glad to see that gone.
To Brett who built our kitchen who was a remarkable young man with exceptional skills. He stayed back later than he needed to, making sure we were happy with everything before he left.
To Jason from Gladiator plumbing for completing our gas work and installing our new stone sink with new plumbing.
To Steve and Harley from Theiss electrical for putting in our powerpoints, lighting and electrical work.
To the plasterer Gary and Chris who installed the ducting for the rangehood.
Finally to Louis from Victoria Colour glass for our amazing splash back.

All this could not be orchestrated any better than we had dreamt.
All these guys are like a giant family and work together like clockwork.

Thanks to the team of Granite Transformations Nepean, they are absolutely amazing and we would highly recommend them to anyone.

A very prompt and professional service from start to finish. The workmanship and products are outstanding. The installed benchtops in particular exceeded our expectations. Without any reservation, I would be very happy to recommend this organisation to anyone.

Had our kitchen renovated in 2014 and within two years had issues with product (see attached photographs). Contacted John Christie (John) to repair issues under warranty and took over a year to respond with help from Granite Transformation's Head Office (which you cannot contact anymore if you have issues with the franchisee). John is exceptionally good at taking your money and very poor with after sales customer service. He always blames the product for failing, never himself for purchasing substandard material. Recently, reported issues with partition between oven and refrigerator (material is splitting)- no one from head office will help and John said he would assist, however empty and false promises were made. I am prepared to cover some of the cost to repair the issue, however John is not wiling to help.

Do not waste your money here- John is good at taking it and offers substandard product and service!

I had a granite transformation bench top installed in 2018. I was unhappy with the seem between the 2 pieces. I was also unhappy with the colour difference between the two pieces, and the number of "spots" or defects in the product. Here's my story of unhappiness:

1. I was told it was my fault for putting the seam there - I said but I asked for your advice as the expert and was told "I'm not an expert" (that's the most honest thing this man has ever said)....

2. I asked for a repair - the repair man was never booked,.

3. Seeing he would not take any responsibility.... I offered to pay 50% of the cost to get it fixed (no response)...

4. I then lodged a complaint with the office of fair trading - they didn't even respond to THAT!

5. Office of Fair Trading advised my ONLY option was to take the company to small claims court - at the time, of all this happening, I had "personal stuff" going on, and just didn't have the energy to do this....

I would NEVER use this company again, and I certainly CANNOT recommend them to anyone.

John and the team had been reccommended to us via a couple of friends who had used their services, overrall happy but not without issues also - we decided to go ahead with them anyway

John at first impression seemed like an upfront bloke. He had some great ideas for how to style the kitchen and had quotes sent within a timely manner. However, that's the extent of the positive experience with him and the franchise. What was meant to be a 3 day total job turned into 4months of waiting, defects, unreplied text messages and follow up phone calls.

After bombarding him hoping for a reply a date was finally agreed upon where he'd come visit and fix the dozen defects left behind for months - I was unsurprisingly stood up. I took the day off from work, waited the entire day with numerous texts and phone calls without a single reply back. I received a text message in the following dayS and said he was on leave and that someone was meant to come - no apology of course and after he said he'd personally be there to sort issues out.

We had several friends watching our kitchen renovations keenly at the same time with the intent to have theirs done afterwards. We couldn't bring ourselves to reccommend Granite Transformations let alone leave a positive review which seems to be in line with many of the reviews found here. There were several defects, bits left out and overrall a lacking sense of attention to detail. If you're someone looking at contracting out renovations to a business who will look after you throughout the sales process, this business is not what you are after.

1 star for a half decent job overrall. No other stars of lack of professionalism, communication and after sales service/followup

We booked Granite Transformations Penrith to remodel our kitchen. John Christie came on site to measure and quote. He was professional and polite. once measured re modelling he got back via email with a price. We paid deposit and job was booked for the 26.8.2018 . Kitchen remodel was to be a 3 day job. DAY 1/ All tradies were punctual and polite nearly completion of day one we noticed the bench top was not matching at a join, two very different shades of colour. Even the tradie said it didnt match. GTP Tradie rang John to inform him of this. John spoke to me via his Tradies phone which i explained to him, colours didnt match not even close , his reply was "nothing to do with him ", he (john) would have to go thru manufacturer and would be in contact later. We then decided to put a hold on final payment. Not long after this decision John rang my mobile very unhappy, yelling at me so i passed the phone to my husband who listened to his rant until my husband spoke, John went quite as he thought he was still talking to me. John said nothing else he could do out of his hands contact head office. We asked him to come out to look at the Colour difference he flat out refused, he just demanded money owed for completion of job. We said we have the money and want to pay GTP but when the job is complete as per contract agreement. GT head office sent their warranty man out to our home, about 6 weeks later he Gareth was very proffessional, he conceded upon 1st look at the bench top it should never of been laid. Gareth then followed up on getting it relaid same colour , made dates etc, rang me and a date to fix the remodelling, best date they could do was another 6 weeks away.. 31 oct 2018 kitchen to be replaced GT rang and postponed to the 15 nov 18. I rang GT head office on the 14 Nov to get a time of arrival for the next day, Gareth was retrenched no more warranty work. I had to ring John Christie to inform him he was now responsible for his own workmanship, as GT head office now basically disowned and franchise problems. John Christie was most unhappy to be told this by a customer, not the parent company. This relationship between us and GTP never repaired itself, John kept hounding me for the money owed, wanted cash, as he had holidays booked, his staff wouldnt answer any of our questions reply was "talk to John" with a venom tone.. Job was finally finished 27 Nov 2018 started way back 26.8.2018.. on the .20.12.2018 John Christie came back to finish some patch up work, which was damaged during work, On this occassion John was very very rude, demanded I pay balance of money owed in cash... Certainly NOT the same person who 1st quoted me on 17/7/2018...He said he would stay in my kitchen until I got the cash to pay him that day. I said wait here I will ring my husband , his reply was dont bother : I will send the debt collector out to you, and stormed out of our home. We paid the final amount on the 11.1.2019....I am so sorry this was such bad experience with GTP I can not recommend this company or its owner. John I believe after my 1st hand experience to be a mean person , a bully, only interested in intimidating women for his want of cash..... R. C.

The initial quote for the job was extremely well done, however the actual job was botched and poorly implemented. The original 8 days to completed stretched into 5 weeks with us not being able to use a kitchen for almost 3 weeks. The original job was partially done with the workers disappearing from the job leaving doors missing, front of draws missing, bulkhead missing and doors damaged when fitted. Overall they needed to replace 3 doors and refit correctly another 6. They avoided us, ignored attempts of communication and required a legal notice to finally return to finish the job - even then they still needed to replace another door damaged during fitting. An extremely poor outcome from fools and untrained workers. STAY AWAY from these guys.

My new bench developed a small crack in it. I just wanted them to look at it and convince me it wouldn't any worse I could live with it. After 3 emails and 3 phone calls they couldn't even respond to any to any of them. So much for the warranty
