Bento ya Japanese Cuisine

My wife and I regularly drop in for their Bento Take Away lunch specials. Easy parking at Westleigh Village and relatively short waits for walk in orders.

Karaage Chicken is my go to, whilst my wife prefers the BBQ Beef (Bulgogi) lunch special.

The Kabayaki grilled eel is another favourite.

Some of the side dishes (seaweed salad) may be foreign if you are unaccustomed to Korean dishes - but be adventurous and give them a go!

I get Bentoya heaps on Uber eats and it’s honestly one of the top 3 sushi I’ve ever had. It always tastes fresh (not like it’s sat in a display fridge for a day) and it always tastes the same quality and it’s always the same portion size (so you know what to expect on any given day).
Pricing is aligned with majority of other similar restaurants and delivery is always quick and within the estimated Uber time.
I usually get the salmon nigiri and the salmon avocado cheese roll but the Karaage is also great.

Quick dinner light and fresh.

Katsu salad awesome. Missus Tempura plate was perfect with prawn and veges.
Agadeshi Tofu hot and full of flavour, just right.

Youngsters had a feast…Master had Teriyaki Ramen, ate the lot. Broth full of flavour and plentiful.
Miss had her avo sushi and picked all offerings.

Polite friendly staff. Food was swift to table.

Best thing to happen to Westleigh shops since the place was first built. Great food at Bentoya.

With this place and the Mezze cafe absolutely carrying the food scene here in Westleigh, I can go get a good, hot meal, without uber eatsing something from 3 suburbs away and feeling bad that I spent $50 on lukewarm food delivered by an underpaid bloke in a honda prius.

Below is a picture of the ebi fry curry which was 10/10. I also recommend the tako-yaki, and chicken katsu.

Excellent food & service. An authentic taste made fresh as ordered. Low-key dining environment in the heart of Westleigh village. The deluxe bento boxes with BBQ Beef, fish Tempura, Chilli Chicken and Chicken Katsu curry are all recommended.

Nice Bento box, kids also finished all the udon and lik it.

I’ve been getting bento ya through Uber eats and the food is fresh and delicious I highly recommend either going to the restaurant or getting delivery as it’s still affordable their ramen is awesome.

Was not expecting much as it is only in small shopping centre but sushi was awesome and got the fried chicken bucket which was just as good. Will definitely be back when in the area.

Decent for the locals. Wide range of delicious food to choose from, good lunch menu. They choose very fine ingredients, sashimi tasted very fresh!! clean and simple environment with friendly staff.
