el Farouge Charcoal Chicken

Came in for an afterwork feed. Got the half chicken & chips meal. Chicken skin was crispy and meat was moist and very flavourful. Chips crunchy and nicely seasoned. el Farouge is definitely up there with El Jannah and Crispy Bird (actually felt the garlic sauce was better here). Restaurant was very clean with modern decor. Customer service was absolutely amazing. Very welcoming and hospitable. No faults whatsoever.

Amazing place, I came here thinking it was all about the charcoal chicken , I was so wrong.
The fried crispy chilli chicken burger was one of if not the best burger I've ever had.
The chicken wings were super juicey on the inside and so crispy on the outside, also full of flavour.
All this followed by the usual 5/5 charcoal chicken with home made garlic.
Can't wait to come back.

Super-friendly owners, great service. Tea, coffee (free cookies with hot drink), delicious food, clean facilities. Been in Guildford for 8 years, new premises, same excellent hospitality.

The chicken was cooked EXTREMELY well. It was consistent, flavour was great, stuffing wasn't overkill. I liked how they packed the garlic sauce. The hot chips were perfect.

The lady serving me was fun and flirty, great service with realistic prices. One of my personal peeves the hand washability. They have a nice little sink setup around the side of the counter.

I was extremely satisfied, alas this was my first visit. I'd like to try the burger next.

After reading all the reviews and after trying many of the other charcoal chicken stores in the area this was the most delicious chicken I have experienced. The skin was full of flavour and the chicken was fresh and juicy. Highly recommended can't wait to come back and eat in

Finally we have a quality charcoal chicken restaurant in Guildford. Food is fresh and tasty. Especially crispy chicken is excellent. Service is 👌 they re kind and have smile on face. Personally I prefer plate over serving board but not a big deal😅

First time here tonight.
I bought 1 whole chicken and it was on special. Chicken was fantastic, flavourful and moist.
Hummus was great not too salty. Salad was was fresh. Healthy and nutritious.
I think it was the owner who served me? Lovely women, friendly and sweet.

I would definitely come back next time.

Place is very clean. Nek the server was friendly. Great serving sizes. I got the wraps and the chicken was very tasty and the Toum was to die for. Highly recommend this place.

Had beef cheese burger. The patty was perfectly done 👍. The trainee put too much lettuce and tomatoes in it, manager offered a new one so i took the offer... great service and presentation. It was tempting to see the chicken being grilled on charcoal, will definitely visit again to try their charcoal grilled chicken.

Wish i could give more then 5 stars! Picked up a catering order not long ago for work colleagues, they were blown away with the taste of the chicken! Honestly best charcoal chicken in NSW by far! The owner is the best, so kind and welcoming, awesome customer service! Cant wait to personally go back and try their burger range also!

💯 % the best food here. I had a chicken roll, and said I liked the pink pickles. So she put more in. Food was really tasty. Nice friendly atmosphere with music playing in the background. Service was awsome and served with a smile. Wish I had taken pics of my food, but was starving. This place is a must visit. I reckon it would crank in the evening.

love eating here. usually order from menue log when not bothered to cook. chicken is always juicy and full of flavor, chips are good, gravy is good, seafood salad is amazing, garlic sauce is the best always order extra! always have good customer service.
