Thank you to the wonderful staff at Bellbird for hosting my son's 21st birthday recently and for ensuring a celebration to remember. The event ran smoothly and was faultless, from initial planning stage to the actual celebration. My endless queries were answered and my requests were met without hesitation. Delicious food (allergy options catered for without any issues) and service was above and beyond. Would not hesitate to recommend Bellbird for any function, party or get together.

First time dining at Bellbird as was recommended by a friend. So impressed with the quality of the food it was just delicious. Had the Beef Fillet and the Scallops which were to die for. You don’t always see this level of quality in the suburbs but this place is exceptional. Service was great, Sharon and James looked after us and made it a fantastic experience. Lovely atmosphere, great staff, great food and highly recommended.

A wonderful dining experience, more expensive than other lunch options but the meals are worth it. Decent meal sizes, especially the side of chips - wait staff were friendly and helpful and the gallery was lovely to look at while eating. Meat was very tender and sauces were flavourful. Quiet atmosphere, but suitable for talking and the food arrived at a consistent rate.

We dined as a couple. It was our first time at Bellbird. This place is not just dining out, it's a fine culinary experience from the attentive service, the timing of the service of food, at just the right temperature, to the food itself. A wonderland for your taste buds! Thank you to all the staff at Bellbird will most definitely be back again.

An amazing local restaurant located in the scenic powerhouse art complex. The food is without a doubt the finest of dining in the Liverpool area. A regularly changing menu featuring only the best, freshest and in season ingredients.

A hidden gem in unassuming surrounds, let the food do all the talking. We dined for lunch on a quiet Saturday. The staff were very friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived. Being located inside the Casula Powerhouse gives the indoor dining option an immensely open feeling. The entree of lightly torched cured Kangaroo was tender and well seasoned. The main of pork belly was succulent and crispy, paired beautifully with grilled peaches and chilli plum. The desert continued to impress. The strawberry cheese cake deconstruction was stunning. Each course was impeccably presented and the flavours well balanced. The seasonal menu changes regularly to match the fresh food grown on site. A must visit! 5 stars.
*The outdoor covered dining area gets very loud very quickly.

Really can't fault this place. We come here at least once a month with the family for breakfast and lunch. The food (including coffee) is consistently delicious, fresh and always beautifully presented.
They have a lovely covered, outdoor space that's perfect for group bookings.
Federico, Steven, Sonja and the rest of the team are super friendly and their service is exceptional. If you are a local in the area, I highly recommended you come and check it out.

Bellbird Dining focuses on seasonal produce straight from the local farm or veggie garden (they grow their own kale, corn, asparagus, artichokes) straight to the table. Menu designed by Head Chef Federico Rekowski & Sous Chef Steven Pham.

Standout dishes for me was the prawn risotto, handmade gnocchi, okonomiyaki fries and pork belly. My favourite dessert was the Mandarin & Almond cake which was super moist, but I'll also suggest giving the coconut affogato a try (sounds weird but it works).

Service was attentive and its a great place to dine with family or friends. Its located in the Casula Powerhouse, so you can take a look after. The venue is also right next to Casula train station, so very easy to get to.

Five years later (could be more) and Bellbird Restaurant fine wine and fine dining experience has developed from a stale, ancient government run cafe to what the friend of an old boss would call the "bona fide two bites and bit of drizzle" of a proper establishment. The food here is good. The location is magical... Post modern blah blah blah in an old Coal Fired Power station. (Must have taken years to get the smell out - although the gigantic chimney probably helped in this regard.) One thing I would say is there needs to be more frequent art exhibitions. Surely there's some unloved Sidney Longs or Margaret Olleys or even a Selby Warren or two hanging around in the store room at the AGNSW ready to make the trip up the M5? Still, the position is beside a river at the quiet end of Casula and when the heavy plastic curtains are drawn and the sun shines in the place becomes - to understate it - pretty nice. Service has come a long way from the bad old days when asking for a soy flat white or a skim mocha felt pretty risky with the woman wearing the hair net standing behind the counter ready to shake her head and speak in a loud voice, "We don't serve that fancy city stuff here...the coffee is white, or it's black. There's sugar beside the canteen window!" These days it's all cappuccino and mocha and ristretto and dolpio and believing your self fancy is just par for the course. Still, Bellbird fine wine and dining is a bit of a well kept secret which will hopefully remain that way for a little longer with Sydney still far too important to make it's way all the way out to Casula. Where? It's on the map.
