Breakfast menu and food we ordered was delicious. Staff friendly. Perfect place to celebrate a special occasion.
Food servings are generous. I got 3 poached eggs with my eggs Benedict! Long black coffee was great. No complaints from me. Being inside the centre, parking wasn’t an issue.
We will be back to try the lunch menu next !

Lovely cafe with large windows over looking the boats and water! Natural light making you feel instantly relaxed as soon as you step into the space. Staff are all so friendly and all smiley! :) Yummiest bacon and egg sandwich I’ve ever eaten and good coffee! Highly recommend!

Great food and warm friendly service. And great view too. This is my go to place to meet one of oldest friends - and it never disappoints. Food is fresh, generous portions and so tasty. Today I had the organic smashed avocado - free range organic poached eggs, shredded feta cheese, dried cherry tomatoes, baby spinach and chia seeds served on toasted sourdough. Wow, so tasty. Washed down with a peppermint tea. Staff are efficient, professional and friendly. Perfect for breakfast, lunch or a break in between shopping.

Great location and awsome view from the cafe. Ordered the Sweet potato burger and fish & chips. Tried the sweet potato instead of the traditional beef or chicken. Quite enjoyed the burger, nice balance of flavours as well. Fish was battered well, not over the top, and the chips were great to compliment the meal.Great for lunh or brunch, sure to go back there soon.

What an amazing place to dine-in 🤩🤩 Best food, hygienic place, friendly staff, good service and great views - Total package for perfect fine dining. It’s worth the money!!
There are great vegetarian options. I love the pumpkin soup and crispy bread, but their KFC - Korean Fried Cauliflower is MUST TRY!!! They make the best Thickshakes - Chocolate is my favv one there!! Highly recommend this place :) :)

High Tea was lovely! So filling and a good variety of savoury and sweets. Mocktail was very fresh and delicious too.

Went to the mall for the first time and glad we found this cafe!
The view was amazing!! The food was great and quite affordable for the area.
The food came a little slow but not a big deal!

The Cafe was spacious with good view from the window. It was good to see this cafe follow the social distancing rule for each table. They had this sanitizer station at the entry which was nice . The food was great and service was qui k. The staffs were friendly. We had coffee after the food and we got the opportunity to have great coffee after a long time. Overall everything was perfect. We will definitely visit this cafe soon.

Absolutely delicious at Birkenhead Cafe. Food was well presented and staff were excellent. Great place for a Sunday brunch.

Unbelievable delicious burger and quesadilla. Good view and not many people on Thursdays. Will definitely come back and enjoy a calming afternoon!!

Great Coffee, Great Food and A.M.A.Z.I.N.G service. My wife came in here a week ago and ordered a tea while she breastfed our baby. The owner came over and said she didn’t need to order anything and she could stay as long as she liked. The very next week we came in with the family and I ordered something I didn’t really like, I decided to order something else (fully prepared to pay for it, I didn’t complain at all). The owner came over and said we didn’t have to pay for it.

They now have my patronage every time I come here.

Easy lunch here. Staff are friendly. Food is good quality and well presented. At least 4 start, another star for the river view.

We had a wonderful experience at this cafe. The view is gorgeous, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I had the baked sweet potato, and the calamari, and both were exquisite.

Great food,good views,nice ambience. Must try the chicken hook and the Risotto Volcano. The fried cauliflower was so good and surprising the seafood basket as a entree is really a good idea. Plenty of space, plenty of room, can fit a wedding banquet in here!

Worth seeking out this cafe. A seat by the window has a view of the marina and beyond. The Cafe is clean and beautifully decorated. The food is tasty and service is prompt. They also do a high tea which looked scrumptious. A great space for a function. Highly recommended.

First Birthday Party
We recently celebrated our daughters first birthday at Cafe Birkenhead and could not be happier with our decision to hold our event here.

Levon (event manager) went above and beyond to ensure the day ran as smooth as possible, even arranging flowers at short notice. Levon reassured us throughout the morning of the party that everything was under control so that we could sit back and enjoy the day. Levon and his team made sure all our guests had a wonderful time, attending to all their needs.

The service was exceptional given there was another event on and the cafe was also open for walk in trade.

From starters, to entrees, to the mains we could not fault the food. It was flavoursome and portions were very generous! Many guests were unable to finish their main meals.

The atmosphere was perfect for celebrating our daughters first birthday with family and friends and the view is definitely a bonus! We can’t wait to come back for a relaxed lunch very soon.

Beautifully presented with a relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of healthy options, GF or something heavier. Worth a try.

Had a wonderful birthday celebration for my daughter. The set breakfast menu for $40 per head was the best harbourside deal around. Irene was a superb host. Attention to detail. Special diets catered for. Nothing was too much trouble. Will come again for sure.
