Centred down from the main thoroughfare of businesses trying to use the DFO branding of Birkenhead to sell stock at marginally reduced prices in my experience with little enthusiasm from most retail assistants there. An unfortunate critique but an honest one.. However, just at the end of the elevators for the remarkably delicious options for a small food court. There is a refuge of true customer service and bespoke tailored bargains things you want but don't want to pay regular Typo stationery prices. This little haven is overseen by Angela, who, like her name suggests, was sent from heaven above. She has been a reason for me to come not just to Typo for gifts, personal supplies and to feed my obsession with stationery but without the zeal for Smiggle. Angela has lifted my spirits and shown real dedicat to her work and ability to relay the best possible ways to save money. As somebody on a restricted income, she has been kind enough to hold things aside until I can afford them. And truly, some of my purchases have been a boon on my journey towards a holistic mental health plan. In so many little ways she has given me a structured journal or planning book that has made keeping records of my wellbeing and mindfulness practices. She is a true gem of Birkenhead and just being assisted by her is a pleasure enough to visit the store for. I couldn't be more touched by her remembering me and "loving my vibe" and positively commenting on aspects of my personality I'm trying to improve. I am doing this is a slight way to.say thank you,. On top of sending feedback to her head office about just how much of an asset Angela is to both Typo and shoppers facing difficult decisions about how much they can buy with what they have, that will have an unknown impact just through the consideration, kindness and compassion that is rare but such a treasure, just like Angela herself. I tried to tell her some of this and I she said I nearly brought her to tears. Hopefully this review and the feedback I give her managers will bring a little winkle of a tear to her eye, for all the crying having a weekly undated journal of goals and actions that can have on a life that is tumultuous and disrupted by events that don't have a date. Thank you Angela. Come see her, come feel the difference somebody caring about who they provide a servce to and caring about a person however briefly, that leaves you with a sense of calm, 0 buyers remorse, and ways to make your life easier, which she does by helping you get the most out of the time she spends with her. This might seem overly emotional and wordy. But, it's easy to write good words about amazing people. And she deserves every commendation and compliment I can muster I'll stop now. Go see Angela, go get yourself planning your goals with things that are the most inexpensive treat you can give yourself and your family - because of her.

This Typo outlet store is small but contains great deals. Items like pencil cases were half price, in addition to journals, diaries, mugs and iPhone cases. They also have funky socks. The staff were friendly and greeted you upon entering the store. The store is located near the entrance before you take the escalator to enter the main part of Birkenhead Point.
