Good service

I went there 2 weeks ago, for an optometrist appointment, the lady I had was amazing so I went out of my way to get them more business by inviting my sister to come and get her eyes tested then we could pick out our frames together.

So upon my return journey I was severely disappointed, my sister had her eyes tested again the optometrists there are great, HOWEVER the sales team are severely lacking manners to begin, the man came out, didn't smile, didn't offer us a greeting nor welcome, sat down, didn't introduce himself and said who is (NAME) I said she is (NAME) then he addresses a child, a minor of 15 years and tells her you haven't paid your bills.

Of all things to say when you first meet a customer. As it turns out the card he was swiping wasn't working, the balance wasn't showing up, but instead of coming up with reasons why it might not be working, he immediately accuses my sister of not paying her bills.

I did not appreciate his tone, nor how he was addressing a minor. The rudeness was astounding, and he went to go get his manager when I asked if there could be a possible issue with the system, all I got was a no its you.

So the manager comes, and explains it, so I call the owner of the card who assures me everything was paid, and they said we'll find out Monday by contacting HCF. So we go to select our frames from their dismally small display, nothing to which we actually love, a few options which were just okay, but after the way the sales person spoke to my sister initially I didn't want him anywhere near us. So the manager was very helpful and very lovely in assisting us pick our our pairs.

Since her card wasn't working we couldn't finalise anything and I didn't sign anything and didn't actually make a purchase and they said they would contact me on Monday to get it resolved.

So the owner of the card visits HCF and there is nothing wrong with it, but I hear no word from them the eyecare centre, so on Wednesday I call them up to find out whats going on and apparently everything was fine with her HFC card because they went ahead and ordered her glasses and frames without my approval to which they then had to go and cancel them.

I was floored by the overall unprofessional behaviour we received. So I asked for the optometrists script to be printed and we'll go get our frames else where.

I thought they were meant to be professional are they are carrying the HCF brand name but that is far from it, the optometrists are great, the sales team specifically the guy with dead fish looking eyes and missed a bunch of spots shaving which looked like pubes on his face needs retraining in customer service.
