MECCA Double Bay

Michelle (lady with the glasses and burgundy-ish hair) was the absolute best!

I was looking for a concealer, contouring stick and primer and Michelle went above and beyond to find the right products for my skin type, makeup style and level of technique. She colour matched the product to my skin tone perfectly (I am Eurasian so this is tricky depending on the season/how tanned or pale I am) and went on to explain how best to apply and control the product for every occasion.

It is very obvious that the staff at Mecca double bay are knowledgeable and I would consider using Michelle and the team’s in house professional makeup services for an event next time!

The store itself is very clean and tidy, quite a lot of staff on hand and I visited in the morning during the week but I’d expect there’s enough help on the weekend should you need it.

I walked into Mecca having smelt a delightful fragrance carried on the breeze to the cafe next door to the Double Bay store. Having had a medical procedure that day before I was not looking flash. Lauren treated me with such respect and consideration . . and amongst the many beautiful fragrances in store she identified the fragrance I was seeking. Thank you Lauren for being so kind and helpful and for knowing Mecca’s products so well - I very much appreciated it. I hope Mecca realises what a wonderful job you do for the company.

I received the best customer service by a girl with blonde hair in a ponytail (forgot to asked for her name, she has a pretty smile too)! She’s very friendly and helped me choose a Father’s Day fragrance with such lovely attitude! I work at a Mecca store as well and despite knowing I might have the knowledge and experience with fragrance the girl still walked me through some options and helped me choose one. I feel super taken care of and her gift wrapping skill is superb 🎁

I did a makeup service with this meccas and all the staff were so lovely. The place was clean and well organised. I would recommend this Mecca store to friends and family 🙂

Alora was incredible helping me pick out a bridal lipstick and was patient and kind helping my mother with her make up. Can’t recommend her enough for help if you visit the store.

The newly renovated Mecca store in double bay is gorgeous! And a perfect spot to grab a coffee and engage in some retail therapy. Thank you to the staff, especially Amber who provided wonderful customer service and helped me put on strip lashes for an upcoming dance performance that night 💄💕

I was in on the weekend and Nina was incredibly approachable, made me feel comfortable and gave me the time that I needed to understand what was best for me. Her energy is infectious!! I wore the products she recommended out that night and felt amazing.

Terrible at applying my own makeup, I booked in for Mecca Pro makeup application. I had an amazing experience! Prior to the application my skin was prepped using the most wonderful products. The artist was lovely and knew exactly what I wanted. The Double Bay store is also a bit more subdued compared to it's rowdy store at Bondi Junction, which I appreciated. Very happy, would recommend.

I received Excellent service and the best help with choosing some new skin products that I desperately needed while in lockdown. Over the phone Make up artist Yulia Kuzmina took her time and such good care of me recommending the right products suiting my skin. I bought 3 products that have given me amazing results after just using them only twice. Tatcha (the camellia cleansing Oil), Summer Fridays(Aha exfoliating solution), Sunday Riley (Vitamin C hydration cream).
Easy pay over the phone and delivered to my home.

I was lucky enough to have an appointment with Hannah for a Make Up Application (Mecca Classic) who not only accommodated a very last minute change in appointment time, but was professional, friendly and came with a wealth of knowledge and experience.
She spoke to me through each step of the process, told me what products she was using and the reasons behind them.
I walked out feeling like an absolute Goddess.

A Beautiful store in a beautiful area, with a great team

Such a helpful team! I had an issue with a product beyond their control (lets just say it involved lumpy pineapple), and they replaced the product instantly and made me comfortable enough to purchase something else as well. Thanks Team!
