Rutherglen Caravan & Tourist Park

We had a 3 night day here recently and our motorhome broke down on the first day. Dennis could not have been more helpful, he did everything he possibly could to help us. The park is well situated to the town. We will stay again.

Perfect little spot. Dennis was a great guy. Would love to go back when a little cooler.

Perfect spot to stop and the best setting. We watched the sunset over the lake and woke to the beautiful view again. Highly recommend this lovely little park in a great town.

Beautiful setting. Facilities were very clean and everything worked well. Denis and Lisa were superb hosts. We spent 7 days of pure bliss. Affordable, highly recommend...and dog friendly. Definitely stay again.

Even before we arrived, Lisa and Dennis could not have been more welcoming and helpful!! This was our first time hiring a caravan for a holiday and we booked Rutherglen Caravan & Tourist Park on a recommendation. The location is beautiful and close to everything. There is a lovely fire for Happy Hour each afternoon. The park and its facilities are clean and well maintained, and the location is quiet and peaceful. Our hosts Lisa and Dennis were terrific. Could not have had a better experience and we will be back!!

We had the most relaxing time here. Lisa and Dennis are fun happy people that welcome you into their park with laughs, banter and stories around the glorious fire pit. Gus our dog have never had so many puppy friends.
Great, very central to everything, we walked everywhere. Live this place.

Great place. Clean, quiet, excellent amenities and friendly owners

Staff absolutely fabulous, friendly and informative. Were more than prepared to attend Happy Hours with guests and even supplied firewood for campfire at Happy Hour. Amenities very clean, park itself clean and very well cared for. We will Definitely stay there again when we can travel to Rutherglen.

Great little place in a historic and interesting town. The park has friendly owners who take very good care of the place. The facilities are modern, clean and well maintained. The caravan sites are generous in size and really easy to maneuver in and out of. The proximity to the local skate park was perfect for the kids. An added bonus was the friendly wildlife - swamphens, possums and a curious duck all came close and took offered food.

Stayed in a cabin for five nights and really enjoyed the time. Cabin well appointed and very clean. Location is wonderful with a short walk into town. Hosts Dennis and Lisa are very welcoming and arrange a happy hour around the camp fire by the lakes edge every evening which is a great way to get to know the other guests. We highly recommend this venue to explore the wine estates and enjoy local hospitality. Will definitely return for another stay. Owen and Sarah Nelson

The lady in reception was so kind and considerate.
It was all very easy to book, and make any adjustments.
The best part is it’s walking distance to everything.

Nice quiet park. Good sized camp kitchen. Clean toilet block. Overlooks lake.
Next door to local pool.
Couple of minutes walk to main street with cafes ,good sized IGA, wine tasting and pubs.

Walking distance to town centre. Great caravan park, stayed in cabin. Visited wineries.

Loved our stay wish it was for longer. The hosts were brilliant in making it a memorable stay in this clean as a whistle park. The fire pit happy hour was a highlight for their guests . Beautiful fire they build for our enjoyment. With a walk into town and a central location we will be back

Close to everything very clean have happy hour every night around fire.
Ons night cold and beautiful weather they didn't come happened few times that was the only downside

We have been staying at Rutherglen Caravan Park for many years. Great hosts in Lisa and Dennis who are lovely friendly people, great spot on the lake with plenty of trees and a nice vibe, swimming pool right next door, short walk to main street of Rutherglen with clean shower and toilet block every time. Highly recommend as a caravan park to stay at.

Very convenient, quiet location - withing walking distance of cafes and restaurants. Friendly hosts and the cabin we stayed in was very clean and tidy. I left a pair of shoes which were expediently sent on to a forwarding address. Highly recommend this tourist park.

Was in the area for work, dropped in here, the BEST people running the park.
everything spotless, happy hour by the lake is a must, it some times goes a lot longer.

Great site and close to town. Facilities were clean. Met some really nice people during g happy hour. Look forward to visiting again.
