Poachers Paradise Motel

Brilliant stop for a delicious lunch. If you’re in the area, grab some awesome tasty food from Poachers Paradise. If you’re a fan of seafood, try the swordfish, absolutely brilliant. Our group also had the barramundi and the salmon which were also very delicious. Service from staff was perfect friendly. Menu has a wide range of food choices including kids meals.

A bit late in giving this review as I planned on doing this in December. Thankyou to all at your Motel, the clean spotless room, very comfy bed and the ripper shower and also allowing us to check in a little early as we were on our way to a family wedding. Will definitely stay here again if ever up that way in the future.. Thanks Kerrie for the lovely welcome

We stayed a night at the Motel on 02/12/23. Kerrie, the manager, was very welcoming on our arrival and was kind enough to let us check in a little early. The room was spotless and everything was fresh. As one who hates the typical motel high pressue showers it was fantastic to find a rain head installed. We were in Rutherglen for a wedding and we had 4 rooms booked for our group. Everyone was full of praise for the accomodation.
Located in a quiet side street but just a minute from the main street and the centre of town you could not find anything more convenient. We would definately make this motel our go-to if we were looking for accomocation in Rutherglen again.

Room was very spacious, spotlessly clean, large comfortable bed, with all the amenities needed. Bathroom was also a great size. Owners were very friendly, gave some great recommendations for dinner and I have to say thank you so much for letting me see the dogs, they were the cutest. Only stayed for one night but wish it was longer as Rutherglen is a little gem. Thanks again for a great stay, highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great size, ease of check-in and check-out, and appreciated the local knowledge. (Only shame was recommendation of hotel restaurant attached for dinner, but seems to be managed separately).

Chill pub, no pokies ruining the vibe

Superb hotel, so clean, cosy and friendly hosts. The rooms are immaculate, bathrooms renovated, instant, strong hot water, quality bed and linen. Really nice matching boutique shampoo, conditioner and wash. Absolutely would highly recommend.

Very clean, spacious and great price considering it is Easter! Pleased to have received a room with a spa. Hosts were extremely welcoming and so were their little dogs who popped out to say goodbye in the morning upon checkout. Will definitely stay again if need be ❤

Only stayed for one night with the family but was beautifully clean and welcoming. The hosts were lovely people that made us feel comfortable from the moment we got there. My daughter accidentally left a personal necklace behind that had huge personal value that was mailed to us shortly after our arrival home. This speaks volumes to the team running this establishment and will be forever grateful for their care in returning this to us.

We found this Motel ticked all the boxes, a warm welcome from the owner, spotlessly clean, quite, more importantly a very comfortable bed & pillows!!! excellent location short walk to main street. Will definitely return & thank you for your hospitality.

Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We had a family room with a separate bedroom for the kids, which was a good set up. Proprietors we’re very kind and helped us out when we were stuck for accommodation late at night.

This is probably the best motel I've ever stayed in. The friendly owners, the attention to details, the cleanliness, the location. Big tick on all fronts. Many congratulations to Kerri and Greg. Will be back!

Could not give a greater recommendation. The staff are extremely welcoming and accomodating. We were arriving after hours and Jane made sure we had fresh milk in the fridge for a cuppa. Rooms are spacious and spotless. Cant wait to stay again.5 Star+++

Fantastic!! Room was spacious and super clean. Very comfy bed & huge bathroom too! Fresh milk and icy cold water waiting in the fridge upon arrival. Thankyou to Jayne for making our stay so comfortable! I particularly appreciated the aircon turned on before our arrival on such a warm day😊😊

The best place for a feed in Rutherglen! Cold froffs, prompt service and a chicken parmi that is next level...cannot beat it!
