Fat Shaming Staff

To the mean-hearted judgmental Asian girl working Friday 10 May 2024 at Canberra Centre, you are reprehensible for fat shaming my friend. My friend wanted to treat herself for her birthday and buy a nice jumper for winter. She tried on size S and asked you for XS because she didn’t like the baggy fit.

And you looked her up and down and snorted, pointing to yourself saying “I’M an XS”, as if anorexia and self absorption is some kind of achievement. Thanks for making my friend feel terrible about herself on her birthday, you dumb B. I hope you get fired!

Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced, I will be telling everyone I meet and know to never shop at this store, the asian guy working there is the most awkward rude person, we were walking around the store for only a few seconds and he said to us thanks for coming…..just absolutely randomly out of nowhere, so I replied we’re not leaving yet lol and he looked like he felt so stupid, I think because there were two females next to him he felt dumb and embarrassed. Two minutes past and we were looking at a coat for my partner and he walks up and says what do ya want unprofessionally, I then proceeded to say we are okay thank you, he then walks off and says “there you go then” so I called him up on it and said “stop what was that” and he froze and looked very nervous like no one has ever called him out on acting stupid before, after standing there awkwardly for a few seconds just looking at me, I was done with his awkwardness so I turned my back to him and proceeded to look at the coats, he then walked off and mumbled childish stupidity so I said “yeah yeah” he then stopped and looked back, he must’ve thought we were going to have another exchange, but when he realised I wasn’t even looking at him, he then mumbled something to himself again while he stormed away because he couldn’t of said it in front of me, it was so awkward I don’t know what was going on in his head, it was like something broke, my girlfriend was begging me to not go after him so instead of buying the coat I was about to purchase for her as a gift, we ended up leaving and purchasing somewhere else seconds later because of this idiotic worker, the absolute worst store in the whole place.

PS coat was better elsewhere anyways

Bad customer service, there was no staff member that told us they were closing in 5 minutes. I wanted to try on an item 1 minute after closing time and was told that they are closed. Doors were locked, so we could not even walk out anymore.

Went to visit COS to see if I can find the dress I was thinking about is on sale now. I am the only customer with two staffs. Clearly they were too busy to talking about their families members, their siblings, their half siblings and their quarter siblings etc rather than looking after a client. Shameful.
