Step One Chiro

I have recently been going to see Joseph to address some back pain and postural concerns of mine. He was very forthcoming about how his treatment could and could not help me. He was patient, and would clarify anything I didn't understand. He also sent me away with a clear plan on how I could continue my progress outside of my visits with him. I will happily continue to see him!

I’ve been into Joseph several times now! Each time he has identified my issue quickly, treated it quickly and then looked to rehab and prevention options. Highly recommend him to anyone!

My experience with step one chiro was amazing. Myself not being too experienced going to a chiropractor, Joseph was great, made me feel comfortable straight away and explained/demonstrated stretches and rehab in-depth and made the experience overall great. Will definitely be recommending him to family and friends!!

I went to see Joseph with headaches and acute pain in my neck which was relieved in one treatment and has been really good since. Joseph manipulated my joints and followed up with massage and an easy exercise programme. After that I decided to also get him to look at my stiff lower back which has also greatly improved my pain and mobility . He is a very knowledgeable and professional practitioner.

Joseph is top tier, not only as a health professional but also as a genuine human. I came to see Joseph for the first time 18 months ago now, honestly a little broken with confidence in my body and real bad pain in my neck, shoulder and back, restricting me from getting off the couch comfortably let alone hobbies and sports. Having lost faith in a lot of the practitioners I had seen projecting 24 year to 36 month recovery periods and multiple sessions per week. Joseph had built confidence in me that very first session he could have me back to having confidence my body that it was capable of doin all my favourite. Taking everything he said on board, doin his in house sessions taking my learning and doing them through my day to day which is an essential part of his process, giving you the tools to help yourself. In only 2 months and a session or so per week, I was dramatically improved, doing my fav things again, pushing my body and consistently being able to smash the days without the fear of reinjuring myself.

To this day 18 months later I catch up with Joseph for check up and adjustment every couple of months, and maintaining his teaching day to day, I love pain free and can enjoy life the the fullest. Can not recommend this man enough. You’re a legend mate!

Joseph is a patient, understanding supportive chiro who takes great care and does the very best for you. He not only focuses on adjustments but he goes through and presents exercise plans for rehabilitation. I started noticing results within 2 weeks and would not go anywhere else.

5 Stars for sure! If you are looking for a chiropractor who is patient, attention to detail, knowledgeable, Dr. Joseph definitely is the right one to choose to help with your body pain. He is not just limited to adjusting your spine or working on you, he also works with you for some section of benefitable exercise. I'm surprised to see my body's improvement and reduce the suffer of my pain in just a few visits.

Couldn’t be happier with my experience at Step One Chiro. I came to Joseph about 5 weeks ago with a very aggravated lower back after injuring it playing basketball. During the initial consult Joseph was extremely thorough in the way he assessed the injury - his passion and knowledge surrounding his work was clearly evident. We got stuck straight into a rehab plan tailored towards strengthening my lower back and I felt stronger in that area after leaving the clinic every time. After every session Joseph would promptly send through the rehab plan with any new exercises that were introduced in that session. I began seeing Joseph twice a week for the first couple of weeks and then bumped it down to once a week as the pain started to ease. After 5 weeks of working through Joseph’s rehab plan I am completely pain free and can play basketball and run again freely. It was about a 45-50 min drive to Step One Chiro but completely worth it. I couldn’t recommend Step One Chiro enough.

Josephs made such a calming and welcoming environment which id honestly recommend to anyone. he's Helped me fully with my chronic lower back pain by targeting where it was coming from and helped me build strength and confidence in using my back again in the gym. He provides the perfect treatment for long term solutions whilst also providing immediate pain relief. 10/10 :)

I've not had much luck with Chiros, but I've finally found the one I feel comfortable and confident in.

My first appointment at Step One Chiro with Joseph was almost 2 weeks ago now. I made an appointment as I was having severe back pain from a morning workout. Joseph was very welcoming, he took notes and listened to all the areas I was experiencing pain so he could work on those areas efficiently. After the first sessions my back pain had reduced immensely.

My next session later that week, I asked Joseph about a shoulder pain I had been experiencing for several months. He took a look and manipulated my shoulder to work out what positions were causing the most pain. After the first treatment my shoulder wasn't causing me as much grief so I knew I was on the right track to recovery.

After 2 weeks of 2 sessions per week, Joseph and I were happy with how my back and shoulder was recovering. He bumped me down to one session per week and now once a fortnight.

A great feature I found with Step One Chiro is the active area setup. Here you can demonstrate your technique to which Joseph is able to correct if need be. Another great thing I've found is the treatment doesn't just finish in the clinic. Joseph wrote up a very detailed plan for me to follow which would help strengthen and improve the areas of pain.

I appreciate the longer session times with Joseph that include a combination of chiropractic adjustments, manual therapy, and rehab exercises. This approach has not only helped with my neck and back pain in the short term but has set me up with a preventative rehab plan to avoid similar symptoms in the future.

I started to go to Joseph one year ago when I had back pain and few other little problems. After a few sessions we started to see each other once a month for a routine check and stretch!
It has been absolutely brilliant!

I found Joseph to be an excellent communicator with a natural ability to articulate his vast and intricate knowledge in the area of chiropractic care. I really appreciated that the reasoning behind every adjustment, movement or recommendation was thoroughly explained in a clear and concise manner in our sessions.

Joseph is also great at managing expectations when it comes to the severity of the issue at hand and the pathway to recovery. This was helpful as I have a tendency to catastrophize things!
