General Store Melville

Visited on Australia Day!
My daughter and I needed an açai bowl! Decided to try out General store and we weren’t disappointed. Loved the painted wall mural as we approached from parking our car (plenty of additional parking over the road).
Small shop but plenty of goodies inside. A wonderful deli section and delicious conti rolls and sweets to choose from. They have a dine-in section out front under umbrellas.
Recommend a caramel latte and the Acai bowl with peanut butter or Nutella were both very very good. Very filling. Very well priced at $15 per bowl. Perfect for brunch. If I hadn’t have been so full I would’ve also bought a conti…. Next time!

Get out, this is the place to be. Absolutely sensational. The displays are spot on. The presentation is super. Hot food is hot hot hot. The rolls are spectacular and the friendly staff make this an experience you don’t want to miss. Flavours and combinations were excellent, good quality and well worth your visit. Definitely recommend to my friends and family. Parking is alright and easy to get in and out. Nicely located within a park area for picnics too.

Their gourmet rolls are as good as you'll get. I absolutely love their schnitzel sub which I top up to the max.

Always at the general store for my first coffee of the day and am always met with great staff and great service. The girls and guys always have time for a chat and a laugh even when they’re under the pump (which is a lot of the time) and they always remember my order ❤

First time visit and an absolutely stunningly presented store/shop/deli/cafe. Food is fresh and the store is immaculate.

After lots of positive feedback from fellow colleagues I decided to pay a visit today and was not disappointed, the displays were on point and the range of different foods is vast. Stopped in and had one of their fresh made rolls and it danced on my tastebuds, was delicious and will most definitely visit again. Highly recommended :)

Excellent store, filling a gap in the WA market for quality, healthy and well-priced food on the go. Love the made to order rolls and cakes and pastries. Great service too.

Nice location for parking and the park over the road is perfect to relax and enjoy the fabulous rolls , love the godfather, want to try the others but I always seem to end up with the godfather,

What a great little store packed full of great produce, fresh prime meats, simple dinner take always, great coffee without the fuss and probably the best take away lunch offer in the area. Definitely a regular visit is worthwhile. Highly recommend.

Great rolls and very friendly people, especially behind the deli/roll counter. We have just been in to order 5 rolls and it was very busy - everyone was smiling and just had an awesome vibe. Great work, thanks!

I am a regular at General Store and the coffee and continental rolls are always sensational. The staff are friendly - particularly Lauren, who is also a fantastic barista.
