The beginning and the ending experience is very different.

In the beginning, all our consultation finished within 10 mins (COVID19 may play part of role here), and always we been told everything is good. After 10 times, i even guess is she really a doctor? Or just making some easy money from us?

But if there are any problem, she will call us on the day, rather than waiting for next appointment, which is good.

So, we been told baby in good size, good position, and mother in good health. It all the way until the last week, no sign of labor and baby changed position in last one week, contraction is weak even with medicine, 10 hours with 3.5cm only.

All things put together, she decide to do emergency C-section with 10 mins preparation, and finished the operation as how she promised to me. 5 mins to get baby out, 25 mins to seal up.

Now, my baby and my wife both in good condition.

So, she is a very straight person. If something happen, she will tell you; if nothing need to worry about, she doesn't want to spend one mins to make up something.
She may not like a good friend who you will like all the time, but she is a reliable doctor to take care of your case when you really need a doctor.
If you can get use to her own way to manage everything, then you have the right doctor on hand.

I had Dr Parry for my second baby that I had last week. I would 100% go to her again if I was planning on more children. She is virtually on time for every appointment and you're in and out within 20 mins max, which is great! Other OBs can have you sitting in the waiting room for over 30 minutes before they see you. When it comes to delivering the baby, you can't go wrong with Dr Parry. She gives you exactly what you ask for and she is amazing in the birthing suite. This birth was miles better than the first for me, and I put that down to her listening to my concerns and planning it perfectly. She is also well priced which is an added bonus and the Anesthesiologist she works with is also amazing, so much better than who I had with my first.

10/10 would recommend if you prefer a clear, sharp & concise approach, not wasting time and aren't into fluffing around.

Dr Parry was my OB and Gyno the last 17 yrs. I found her to be brilliant. Straight to the point and very caring. She has a dry but wicked sense of humour and is great at her job. No mucking around. Only reason she’s not my gyno now is due to an interstate move.

Dr Parry was recommended to us from a friend. She was our dr throughout the pregnancy to the delivery of our son. She treated both my wife and I with great respect. She is down to earth and to the point so don’t expect anything to be sugar coated, which is how a Dr should be. We love you Bernie thanks for everything.

Dr Parry looks after her patients with the highest standard of care. She will be the first person we contact when baby #2 comes along! She is extremely thorough and the exact type of person you want on side should a sticky situation come up. Cannot speak highly enough of her!

Dr Khoshnow is very straight forward and answers all your questions as clearly as possible. Personally I relate to this very well and found her to be lovely and reassuring when the time comes for it. Dr Khoshnow made sure I had the best care in the hospital and was on to the nurses and staff when she felt they weren’t doing enough. In my experience she showed a very impressionable level of care for her patients. For example I wanted to leave the hospital within 24hrs and the nurses were prepared to discharge me, however Dr Khoshnow asked for me to stay longer for a number of valid reasons. She then enquired with the nurses about arranging a midwife home visit or if they had done so and the nurses response was no and they weren’t going to because I didn’t live in the area. Dr Khoshnow was very quick to advocate on my behalf and made sure they arranged everything they were supposed to asap.

I understand that the nurses, midwives and staff are exceptionally busy and doing the very best they can, however at times patients can slip through the cracks. I was suffering with postnatal depression and anxiety due to some complications with my baby and having Dr Khoshnow as my obstetrician prevented me from being one of the patients who could have slipped through the cracks.

Dr Parry was recommended to us by two good friends. So I had positive and good expectations of what it would be like to have her care for us and deliver our second baby. But it was not a nice experience for My husband and I at all. Every appointment was rushed through, never taking longer than 10mins. She never discussed any of the ultrasounds in her room with us, I always felt like I was an inconvenience to her. She never acknowledged my husbands presence at any appointment and was borderline rude to us for any question we had.
I was told I couldn’t have a VBAC flat out, when later on other obstetricians told me I would have been the perfect candidate for one. I was forced to go to the ultrasound place of her choice for my big scans, which cost over $300 each scan. I had no option but to go to the private hospital which I wasn’t told until my third appointment.
The day of our procedure she basically did my c-section and then I never saw her again until our 6 week check up. Her colleague ( who was lovely but I had never met) came to see us after the operationinstead.
She advised me to do the section early at 38 weeks as it was too dangerous to go any further for the baby’s health. She obviously had holidays booked that I was scheduled around.
So what should have been an exciting time was rushed and made very stressful for my husband and I.

Review for Dr Quemer Khoshnow: If you are not married, I highly advise against seeking an appointment with Dr Quemer Khoshnow. She is very prejudice against women who are not married, yet sexually active. On my first appointment "the solution" was to place me on contraception, simply because I wasn't married and this would solve all of my issues regarding menstruation, regardless of the fact that my fiancé and I were trying for a baby. Three months later on a follow up appointment, Dr Khoshnow had completely forgotten who I was, and asked again if I was married, out of curiosity I said yes. She didn't ask me if we were trying for a child, but said automatically that "because we were married, getting pregnant would be a good solution to my issues and would help regulate my body". She didn't offer contraception once. She said to start trying and only then, if I wasn't pregnant, to come back. Needless to say, I never followed up on that appointment. The overall experience was a very expensive waste of my time.

Do not recommend at all, extremely rude and dismissive blamed my weight for my pain and did an unnecessary cervical screening even though I had one a month previously. Wasn't interested in my chronic pelvic pain told me to change birth control and lose weight and I would feel better. Diagonosed with endometriosis and adenomyosis three months later by a different gynocologist. Don't waste your time or money.
