Good service and good bread. My go to place for bread in Penrith.

Wholemeal bread is done well here. Enjoyed the Hi-Lo Bread here too. Scones are nice too. Every now and again they have samples of new items too.

Staff smiles are so lovely that I feel like I’m part of the family! And when I told them that I felt that I wish that one of their muffins had more chocolate chips in it, they first gave me a chunk of a second muffin to double check, then brought out the baker (who, as a BD employee had to stick to the BD recipe), and then suggested that they could make me a special variety with extra choc chips if I gave them a days notice. And then they gave me a free sample of some new recipe, and parcelled up that second muffin for me to take home, also for free. I left that place positively glowing. They’re very sweet. SIX STARS!!!
