Gatsby Living - Preston

We recently purchased dining chairs from Gatsby Preston, and our experience with Danny from sales was exceptional. She was not only very pleasant but also incredibly knowledgeable about the products. Overall, it was a delightful shopping experience.

This shop is very nice, and during my visit, I found a splendid leather recliner sofa that I knew would be a perfect to my living room. The staff at the store were incredibly accommodating, and I was particularly impressed by David's professionalism. His knowledge and suggestions greatly aided me in making a decision.

Brilliant customer service and beautiful furniture. I had an absolutely lovely man help me select my couch and when I came back the following day to confirm the purchase he wasn’t there but 2 kind and helpful women completed the order for me. The couch was made for me in a particular colour and it is stunning, extremely comfortable and arrived 6 weeks earlier than anticipated. Was a great experience and I highly recommend!

Excellent customer service by Illie throughout the whole shopping experience! The communication from the beginning of the sale right through to the delivery were smooth sailing , clear and quick! The quality of the dining suite I purchased is excellent too! I highly recommended and will return to Gatsby living again!

Wanted to share a shopping experience both my husband and I had at Gatsby living last weekend. Illie was the salesperson that assisted us with our search for a couch. She was not a pushy sales person, but offered awesome advice and was extremely responsive to our 'many' questions and doubts. She was absolutely a pleasure to deal with, was very helpful and relatable in his role. Great service all round.

We purchased a number of pieces of furniture from Gatsby Living for our first home, and after living with and using the pieces for a couple months we can definitely say we are so happy with the quality!
Our favourite piece though, is our Canty corner couch. We have had so many people comment on how beautiful it looks and how comfy it is.

Lastly, Pooja from the Preston store was absolutely lovely and helped us so much when our delivery date had to change multiple times due to delays in getting the keys for our house. She always kept us up to date, checked in with us and was just brilliant.

We initially had some issues with delivery of a TV cabinet. Emil, the manager, was completely honest in advising the last cabinet manufactured was cracked and he wouldn't accept it on our behalf. He went out of his way to ensure had another TV cabinet that met our very specific requirements, while ensuring we were completely satisfied with our experience. We were so impressed we bought more furniture from them. Couldn't be happier with Gatsby's superior level of customer service, honesty and professionalism. They are genuinely more concerned with customers having such positive experiences more so than making the quick sale that has typically been our experience with other companies within the furniture industry. Definitely going back.

Just want to thank Illie for helping bring the look together for my lounge room. After wondering up and down, I finally ended up at GatsbyLiving. Illie took the time to understand the look I was trying to achieve and offered a number of options within my budget. Can't wait for the items to arrive. I will definitely be back for styling advice next!

Poor quality in general. We had to wait for much longer than they initially promised but we were understanding of that. When the tables and chairs arrived there was multiple structural issues and they had to replace them. The marble tables etched in less than a month for both dinning and coffee table. After months of back and forth and us chasing them many times they finally came back and said the insurance doesn't cover this and it is "normal wear and tear". So a dinning set worth thousands of dollars lasted 1month! Extremely disappointed and will not purchase anything from them again.

We had a disappointing experience at Gatsby due to the unacceptable behaviour of David. Their actions were disrespectful and their threat to ban us from the shop was unwarranted. I believe such behavior should not be tolerated in any business establishment. I hope the management takes appropriate action to address this issue and ensure a better customer experience for others.”
