Pristine picnic and bbq area. Kudos to the people who maintain the rotunda. No cobwebs or birds nesting. Bbqs are in pristine condition. Only picnic place to hide from the wind

Great park with a number of built in tables for families to eat at.

There is also a public closeby too.

We spent an hour here having lunch, then walking the path along the beach before heading to The Nobbies.

If the weather is warm enough, bring your bathers and take a swim after lunch.

Great part of the world. We will be back.

This area is so popular with the locals and tourists, facilities are outstanding with open area picnic tables under shady trees or underneath the large shelter with the free BBQ,s and drinking water on tap.
This area has awesome views of two directions along the islands beaches and out across the bay. Early morning see the arrival of many native birds, a flock of Corellas often comes in to feed. And a short walk will get you to a sandy beach ideal for swimming. For all these great reasons on a public holiday you may have to arrive early to get a place.

Nice picnic area with bbq, picnic tables that are wheelchair accessible, lovely views or over the pier and beach. Coffee and food are nearby too.
