Gordon Hotel

The family went to the Gordon for a meal and we were not disappointed.
Reasonably priced and something for everyone including the kids. The highlight was the chicken mushroom risotto.
A nice place to pop in for a meal if you are staying a few days in the region.

We had a off-road buggy race near Portland and we wanted to go into Portland to have tea and support the local town
We saw the Gordan pub was open and it looked very nice along the esplanade
There was 4 of us and we walked in and were very kindly greeted . We were shown to our table and we ordered a few drinks while we decided what we wanted off the great pub menu . We all ordered and the meals were so quick to come out and the meals were absolutely delicious. Everything in the bistro was clean and tidy and had a great atmosphere. It was definitely a great experience and when in Portland , I’ll be going back to the gordan pub again

Great little place. Waitress was a bit pushy. Trying to convince us what we should eat instead of just taking our order.
Food was great in the end. Salad fresh and crisp.
Would recommend this venue.

Food was yummy and big portion. service was excellent, friendly young staff. Garlic bread is a must to try.

Absolutely beautiful meal, lovely staff and best of all a lovely big wine glass to hold my Riesling with ice, we are visitors to Portland and would highly recommend this lovely old pub, top notch 🤗🤗

Had an amazing southern fried chicken burger for lunch here. Piping hot. Stuffed full of ingredients. Sauces so tasty. Faultless presentation. Chips light, crispy and piping hot. I could not fault this burger in any way. Staff were exceptionally kind to me. Venue beautifully clean. Thank you.

The best garlic & cheese bread and the best lamb rogan josh I’ve had in my life. The chef here is unbelievable. Wasn’t planning on coming back tomorrow but now I am. Barman was great also.

Great Service and meals served in under 15 minutes and very yummy. Unbelievable inexpensive prices too!!

Love this place so much. Second time being here and never disappoints. Waitresses are friendly and have a smile on their faces. Food was so delicious, i had the lamb shanks with mash and veg and my partner had the Jordan parma and wow the shank was falling off the bone, the mash was super creamy and the veg with the sauce wow. Big serving that I couldn't finish it off but wow definitely will be back for the shank. Also they have cocktails t the bar for $10 in a big glass!

Saturday night, very busy..
So the poor staff were a busy..
The meals were great, the garlic and cheese bread entree was nice and the Gordon parma was nice and my wife said the sea food selection was nice, loved the dohnuts for dessert, prices are about what you would expect for a place like this.
Overall a great dining out experience..
Would go back again, highly recommended.
