Portland Tourist Park

Stayed here in a dog friendly cabin. Lovely modern, clean and well-appointed spacious cabin. Fenced dog off leash area and nice park facilities. Friendly and welcoming staff. Looking forward to visiting again soon and spending a bit more time in the area. Recommended.

Top spot to break your journey for a couple of nights. En suite sites for 2 people and 2 dogs, $55 per night the ensuites are modern and clean, the park itself is lovely and quiet, it has laundry etc and car washing facilities. Highly recommended.

A great park, with reasonably new cabins. Everything inside was clean, no scale inside the Kettle, bed was comfortable, lots of room. If I had to pick a negative, no ocean view and lots of "very noisy " Corella's, not that it's the Parks fault. Would definitely return.

I had an unpowered tent site. There were a few koalas 🐨 in the trees 🌳...very nice. A very enjoyable stay, thank you.

Nice staff and very clean but no shade for caravaners or campers. Not possible to get relief from heat. It would be ok if you go out for the day but i need to work. I would stay again but in cooler months.

Had a camper so I needed there facilities for which I found great best camp kitchen that I have used.

Excellent park, cabins unbelievable, camp kitchen so well equipped. Would recommend staying.

Drifting off to sleep with the magical sound of waves breaking on the nearby beach was soothing. Pretty much everything is within walking distance of this historic township tourist park

Good location, easy and friendly team on site, clean, well maintain, easy access

We were lucky enough to be able to book a spa cabin for our 4 night stay. These are modern, clean, very comfortable cabins and the best we’ve ever stayed in. The kitchen is fantastic with good quality cookware and kitchenware plus an oven and cooktop. Highly recommended.

Pleasant check-in experience, we stayed for one night on an unpowered camping pitch.
Check out time was 10am.

Camping pitches were not marked out but we were the only camping pitch that evening so we were told to just take whatever space we needed. Overall the park was very quiet when we stayed, which was lovely!

WiFi was decent but I think there being a limited number of people onsite helped with the speed. WiFi password was communicated via text but we didn't receive it as using an international number but could get code easily enough from reception.

Camp kitchen was clean, spacious and had indoor sofas and seating if you were cold.
Bathrooms in an outside cabin, all clean and functional. Water for the showers was hot.

Local Koala community within the park, so you can take a walk around and go Koala hunting!

About a 15 minute walk along the coast to the main town.

If in the Portland area would stay here again.

We had a great stay. Cabin was spacious and comfortable. Very clean. Staff was friendly. Kids play area & Inflatable bouncer was the winner on our stay.
Close to all the amenities.
Out door barbeque area just a suggestion.
Will definitely stay if we ever come back to Portland ,

My wife and I recently visited Portland Tourist Park for what started as a one-night, but found the park so impressive, we booked for another night which completed our trip.
- Thank you to the lovely hospitality and welcoming nature of Jeanette, who found us a gorgeous site at last minute.
- clean and well maintained park with new updates in the works.
- toilets and showers were clean and no smell. Well done to the fantastic work done to keep the place top shape.
- kitchen was clean and guests left it in good condition too.
- car wash on site to clean boats and car from salt water.
- kids play area
- wonderful friendly guests and staff.
For the negative comments about the noise from birds, suggest if you are after silence from natural habitat then perhaps city apartment would suit. If you want to see healthy birdlife and Koalas comfortable in their natural habitat, then the team here have done a wonderful job keeping them safe.
Thank you and will return in Easter. In love with Portland.

My wife and I and two dogs had a wonderful time at the PortlandTourist Park, the staff there, especially Kathy were wonderful, professional and very friendly. Would recommend the park for anyone wanting to stay in Portland. Our two cocker spaniels loved the dog run at the park. The ensuites were the best we have ever experienced.

Lovely little caravan park with grassed areas. We stayed in a brand new cabin which easily accommodates 6 people, huge corner couch and flat screen TV to chill out to. Wonderfully appointed kitchen and large shower. This place has a jumping pillow and playground which my 5yr old loved. Very quiet location. Managers were also very helpful and friendly.

I love going there with my family, we have been multiple times over the last few years. The new cabins are awesome, the camping grounds are large, nicely maintained and great rates too. Great facilities, needs a little bit more care with cleaning but the owners are always there to help 😊.
Would not stay anywhere else as this park offers everyting we need and more, fantastic playground opposite the camp kitchen which is great for those lazy bbq afternoons. Thank you for everything, will be back soon.

Cleaning has definitely improved, loved walking into a pristine clean cabin. Definitely felt like a luxurious sleep in white fresh smelling sheets on all beds. Well done new management, even improved on the upkeep of the grounds and facilities which is an added bonus.

We only stayed 1night but it was really great will try to come back another time

I spent a week here and thoroughly enjoyed everything about the park and the town. Booked an ensuite site and was impressed with it. Very clean, modern bathroom.. the camp kitchen and laundry facilities were also good. The first 4 ensuite sites have been modernized and work is starting to upgrade more of them. One thing I found totally amazing was the koalas who live in the trees around the park. Step outside your van or bus and you can see them up in the trees nearby. Also, even though the park is situated fairly close to the main road into town it is really peaceful. Staff were friendly and helpful and very welcoming. Thank you for a lovely stay!

I am impressed! Great location - 4mins to the beach and township. Friendly and helpful staff with new management. The upgrades marvelous; cabins are spacious has a well equipped kitchen, comfy beds/ bunks and descent size shower ensuite, and big furnished deck for outdoor entertaining- wish we could stay longer but enroute to Sth Australia... Perfect for the light travelers! Oh yes, the chorus of roosting birds may annoy at dusk so turn up the telly or wear your headphones...let nature be😊

Great Park. Friendly, helpful staff. Ensuite was awesome and very clean. Would recommend highly if you have dogs. Only short walk to town or the esplanade.
