Stillwater at Crittenden

Being locals, we often have dinner here, usually on a Saturday evening. Over the years we’ve noticed some variations in the food quality, but lately it’s consistently been first class. The menu is quite extensive and often includes really interesting dishes that we haven’t seen in other peninsula restaurants. The wine list is also great, and the views during the warmer months are beautiful - try to get a table at a window! We could not recommend this restaurant more highly, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Celebrated here for my birthday with my partner. Quiet, intimate and amazing service. Never rushed. The champagne and wine, incredible. The waiter was amazing! We chose to have 3 courses and every course was incredible. The steak an absolute highlight! The jus was so good! The desserts were equally delicious and they even recognized it was my birthday and my dessert came out extra special! Thank you so much! Chefs kiss!

We headed to Stillwater’s restaurant.
So lovely to enjoy some fine dining with the twist of casual.
We had the glorious winter peninsula sun shining through the window on our table with a glorious lake willow tree view.
We throughly enjoyed our $75 2 course meal, starting with a bread roll served amazingly hot!

We went with the recommendation of the duck dish, fabulous way to serve duck leaving the bones totally out of the scene and succulent sirloin steak serve sliced with the perfect hint of horseradish , we found the meals large and leaving very full.

We had a really great family experience at Stillwater. The food is very yummy, the place is absolutely gorgeous (ask for a table with a view, we'll see the lake / the vineyards), the service is both professional and friendly. Thank you Elyse & Brad for your service, we really had a good time. Happy to come back!

Came here for a lunch on a Saturday and was pleasantly surprised. The food was great as was the service. One of the better wineries I’ve been to for food and would definitely make a trip back here if I was in the area.

Great place to dine & wine with a spectacular view of the vignard. Food was delicious,paired with fantastic wine and relaxing "milieux" to immerse and enjoy life.
Staff was very efficient and delivered a great service. Would definitely go back and highly recommend it.

This venue has a relaxed vibe with friendly and accommodating staff and delicious food. There is a huge selection of wines at reasonable prices. It is also child friendly. It is vibrant to suit any occasion. You can take a stroll down by the lake or walk the lush green lawns. It also accomodates wedding ceremonies and receptions and the ambience is perfect for the special occasion. We will definitely be coming back here again.

Stillwater. What can we say? We had our wedding at the venue this weekend and it was the night of our dreams. The venue looked spectacular, the food was exquisite and the service absolutely phenomenal for our guests.
The team were immaculate in organising our wedding at the venue. Montana and Narelle and all the staff were flawless, covered every detail in the planning, and Montana kept everything on track on the day. She is an absolute legend.
Can't wait to come back for our first anniversary. We couldn't have asked any more of this glorious wedding venue. Highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for an wedding venue.

A fantastic spot to visit. The winery is surrounded by a lovely park and lakes.

A wine tasting excursion is also available. The staff is kind and knowledgeable, and they can provide excellent wine recommendations as well as information on the history of each wine.

It is highly recommended that you visit this location.

We went mid week when the place was quiet and it was just beautiful. It's a small winery and the restaurant and wine tasting service was personal and friendly. Our 2.5 year old got to run around and let off steam in the grounds and we could take it in turn to watch her in the lakeside area right in front of the restaurant terrace so it was perfect. The food was fantastic. A definite highlight for us.

Lovely location and beautiful grounds. We had the sit down wine tasting which was $10 - we tried about 7 wines. We had lunch at Stillwater - lots of food - all very lovely and good value for money. Staff were attentive and friendly.

This venue is a wonderful location for a wedding. My wife and I married at Stillwater at Crittenden in April 2017 and they made our day absolutely perfect. Alison and the staff were so helpful from the outset and planned everything to perfection. The food and wine selection are fantastic.

We attended a wedding there. It rained. Staff could not have been more helpful with a steady supply of dry towels for the wedding party and the guests.
The food and drinks were excellent, and the wait team attentive. As a guest, I was thrilled for The Bride and Groom.

Went to Stillwater today with twelve friends. The food was beautiful and the service was second to none. The manager and her offsider were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble. Definitely recommend to go there .

Simply stunning food! Sensational produce, treated with great respect.
6 of us ate there over the King's birthday long weekend. The prawns were so succulent. The eye fillet: sensational. And the pork cheek with polenta! Loved it all! All of us did.
Two courses for $75, was such value given the quality of the product, portion size and, importantly, taste.

More than just a winery restaurant, this is a restaurant at a winery! The food is brilliant, party of 4 and everyone was very impressed with every dish, serving sizes exceed what you normal receive with this quality of food. Fresh, hot & full of well balanced flavours. Staff were friendly and efficient without being intrusive and the grounds are picturesque. Would recommend, can’t fault anything!

Amazing food and they are incredibly good with kids

We had our wedding at Stillwater two weeks ago and it was the best day ever! Thanks to the organisation and preparation ahead of time from Harriet, and Montana and the team on the day, our wedding day ran smoothly and exactly how we envisioned it! The venue itself is absolutely stunning so our photos look incredible! The food was amazing too - everyone LOVED the pork belly entree! Thanks so much again for an incredible wedding day!
