Admella's Bistro

Good food and prices are ok. Service is decent and quality plus quantity is good. They have daily specials and good selection of entrees, mains and desserts. Bars serves all types of beers, spirits and beverages. Booking is not required as the place is big with multiple sitting areas. Decor is colonial and exactly what you expect from a country hotel. Will come again.

The place opened at 6pm and quickly filled up with people of all sorts. Good warm atmosphere. Food is tasty and affordable. The friendly staff I want to mention especially.

Good pub food in a classic country pub. It was very busy due to the Great Victorian Bike Ride being in town. Staff remained calm and courteous under pressure.

Service was slow. But they were under the pump. I found the environment very loud. With people shouting over each other to be heard. Might be better when not so busy.

Word of warning, make sure you specifically ask for ingredients to be checked as the counter staff can be surprised. I checked contents of salad but it came out with two ingredients not mentioned that I badly react to.

Entering the place was not greeted so we walked to the counter for a menu and was told sit where we want, then come and order.
I must say the food is the worst we have ever eaten. The seafood risotto was creamy and only had a few prawns and cheese. Nothing else, where was the seafood, who knows. Mines was even worse, I got a breakfast bowl with a touch of rice, and was supposed to be Asian greens, they were soaked in a brown sauce. It looked horrible and tasted even worse. The only reason we ate it was we were hungry. If they serve food like this all the time, maybe that's why the place us not so full. Also they don't show their nenu on line, so cannot check it out prior to going. Sorry cannot recommend this place.

I’ve had a lot of bad pub meals in my life time coming from the country. But this was by far the worst. Unseasoned, small portions, extremely overpriced food. You pay a big amount of money for something you could easily prepare at home for much lower price. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Expensive and bad food. Extreme long waiting time. Steak ordered medium was well done +.
