Shepparton Family Restaurant

I visited for the first time on Saturday night, having discovered this restaurants' existence sometime ago, on my way to another restaurant nearby.
We chose the buffet. We sampled the entire menu, in tiny portions.
The food was hot and it was fresh and looked very enticing.
After the first few tastes of each portion, it became abundantly obvious there is serious attention paid to the balance of flavours. Nothing was over-powering or over-salted. There was a delicate balance of flavours in each dish and mouthful.
The peas in the fried rice, were green, round and plump, not wrinkled, saggy or grey. The rice was not dry, nor was it oily or mush.
The black-bean beef was sumptuous, sweet and tender. The honey chicken was tender and succulent, with the batter allowing the true flavour of the chicken to hero the dish, without a glug of pastry and oil.
The vegetables were cooked to perfection, remaining brightly coloured and begging to be eaten.
The atmosphere of the restaurant lends itself to families and large groups. Large group bookings can have their own room, cordoned off from the main dining room in the restaurant.
Families wanting to train their children in eating out and who have out-grown McDonalds, would find this restaurant very appealing. Their children can choose from a menu that is child-friendly, with cheerful attentive staff meeting every need to ensure your meal is memorable for all the right reasons.
The decor is typically Chinese with lots of red and gold ornaments and trinkets. The dining area is carpeted which is great for noise reduction and for those people hard of hearing in noisier venues.
Overall, we were very impressed, by the most helpful smiling staff, the yummy food and the price. Put all three together and we have a winner in this restaurant. What a hidden gem of Shepparton!

Fantastic value delicious food that is evenly balanced in flavour and friendly staff that are helpful. Has a section that can be condoned off for large functions. Children friendly as well. Over all extremely satisfied.

Omg, as usual outstanding food, and the service was absolutely amazing, sorry I didn't get all your names, but way above even what the flashiest restaurants offer.

-I like the red-headed waitress, she was very polite.
-Food is all-you-can-eat, quite nice and very filling in large portions.
-Optimal water-bottle-flipping environment.
-The fish tank is nice.
-Lighting was not too dim nor too bright.
-If you wish to dress formally, take a tie. ($2 dollars at Vinnies)
-Water is complimentary, although you mujst obtain it yourself from the bar.
(Do not try to flip the water jug)

we were so hungry and where we were staying told us about a all-you-can-eat, we arrived, paid and were given HOT plates, the food was AWESOME, hot, fresh and tasty, it was really really yummy, the whole time we were there the waitresses worked cleaning, collecting dishes, refilling the bain marie, they were lovely and so polite, if your after a no fuss cheap eat EAT HERE, I wish we had the same in our town and would definitely come back again A+++

Absolutey brilliant Chinese food, all you can eat buffet for very very cheep. You can literally just stuff your face there as long as you like for less than 15 per person it's unreal, highly recommended. Good variety of food and it's sweet that you can just go nuts

Been going here for 25 years and the same amazing service, clean restaurant and family atmosphere. You'll always be greeted with a smile and the food is always fresh.

We love this place fantastic food, staff are so friendly ,great range of food & desert , plus a all u can eat at a very reasonable price, I would return here any day.

Very nice place for a small to large family, 100% will be coming back due to large space, heaps of seatting, food knowlegde (allergies etc), good customer service and quality of food. Chicken was cooked amazing and there was heaps of choices of food

Great food hot fresh and ready to eat Covid19 restrictions meant they were flat out with take aways. Friendly Staff served delicious buffet the garlic pork an absolute favourite.
