Awesome! Food was fantastic! Good range of beers and large menu. Can't wait to go back for more! Will always be stopping here when in town. Service was really good also

I was in town for an overnight stay on a road trip and put “best pub dinner” into google, which brought me here.
Super busy on a Friday evening, would recommend booking if you are more than just one person.
Staff were lovely, food was unreal.

Had the most delicious lunch here today with my bestie, she had the ChickenParma...I had the Blonde Minestone Soup with garlic bread. Not only was it full of flavour, it was filling too!!! So delicious!!! We shared a slice of the baked cheesecake between us & that just topped it all off. Didn't have the room to fit in a cup of coffee...that will be another reason to go here...coffee n cake!!!
I rate the Aussie Hotel 5 stars for delicious food, friendly servers, fast & efficient service and a lovely place in general to enjoy. Highly recommend the Aussie Hotel if you are looking for quality and comfort food!!! 👌👌👌

Juicy chicken Parma accompanied by a fresh salad - and I don't mean that 4 day old squishy tomato and floppy lettuce one usually gets in most places. Chips were great too.

Update: 4 years later and the above still stands. Just had the Parma again and it was spot on! Everything super fresh and delicious. Great dressing on the salad.

Partner had the calamari and felt it was also super delicious.

Friendly staff great food

Had dinner here tonight, (29-3-23). Meals were A-MAZING! Bar staff were so nice, and the guy tending our tables to remove our empty plates was so cheerful and friendly. It all made our night Terrific. Dining room area we were in was in a quite zone for my son. Beautiful area. Fantastic service. Very happy night. The food was so tasty, and filling. I'll go back again for sure. Thanks for a great night to all staff there tonight. Xx

Friendly staff, quick service, and massive portions. Popped in for some dinner and a drink. Wasn't expecting much, but was surprised to find quite tasty filling food and good beer. Pricing isn't cheap, but very fair considering how much you get. Got there around 6pm and it was quite quiet, but it was looking a lot fuller by the time we left.

Travelled up from Melbourne and dined in on a quiet Sunday lunch and was just blown away by the service from the staff! They were so friendly and happy to be there! Food was AMAZING! We loved every bite and will definietly make the drive again! Well done!

On arrival on friday night 12th January2024 , a lovely young waitress helped us, and then we asked if we could go upstairs, which she was happy to guide us, and it was our very first time at this place and our girls' night out. Yes, there was little confusion about the meals, but we got over that upstairs. Waitresses were so kind to help. Oh my, I can't get over this. All waitresses and securities were amazing - I don't know which words will describe them but the number 1 best team at this place.
In between, the manager female kept walking around, keeping an eye out on her all her staff's.
We even went in upstairs disco corner, and Holly, the DJ, came to say hi and thanked us as we were first there.
Even the crowd were so polite and they were well behaved.
Except around 1am, some misbehaved and securities slowly and quitely removed them.
Overall, we had one of the best times.
Surely, we will be back at this amazing place.

I have been here for lunch without booking!
Yesterday went to dinner without booking as well. It was Saturday dinner rush yet we get to seated, 3 of us had our dinner and drinks served on time.
We used app to order and pay from our phones instead from the bar.
Highly recommend wood fire pizza from Aussie Hotel!
My partner wanted to try wood fire pizza and we did. It was good 🤩!

Good food and good environment and great customer service

Great service and even better food. The 500 gram Ripeye was outstanding, thank you guys for such a great experience today.

Nice atmostphere with plenty of room, friendly service. Beautiful bruschetta, great woodfired pizzas, and best fish n chips according to my Mum! Will visit again when in Shepp.

Recently we had a function upstairs in the balcony room.
From Ian getting things organised with food etc and Louisa and staff looking after us on the night , it was fantastic, even though the only access was stairs the staff helped our elderly guests upstairs and down afterwards and nothing was a problem.
Staff were very friendly , food Was great and every one enjoyed themselves.
Would definitely recommend.

Loved the gluten free options and the fact that they don't charge extra for GF. The food arrived super quickly and we enjoyed everything we tried.

The Aussie hotel is a fantastic place. The atmosphere is great, whether you are in the bar for a couple drinks or there to eat, you won't be disappointed. We ate there two nights in a row and would love to go back soon. Nothing was a disappointment.

We ordered parmis and pasta taste really good. Delicious food. Will be back
