Barca.Love - American BBQ & Bar

Booked a table for two at the last minute but still managed to get a table. Place was busy but not overly loud so you don't have to yell to talk to the person on the other side of the table like at some restaurants. Service was great and food was amazing. A different variety of tastes on the menu. Would definitely go back again!

This Resturant is an amazing place, the owner is lovely, the staff are lovely, the food is amazing!! I had the burrito poke bowl, with bacon and chicken it is my favourite dish to have.

Would absolutely recommend a visit, fabulous culinary experience ( for this type of food).
My husband and l started with a shake, not bad. The waitress explain the specials and we decided on the toasted cheese brisket sandwich and pork ribs.
The prices are alittle high, BUT great food.
There is only one choice of sharing plate, but its only available for evening dinning.

Get yourself a buttermilk chicken po boy and you won't regret it. Comes with seasoned fries also which are crispy. Great friendly service also.

A fun and cozy dining theme, The Philly cheese steak was great, and the servings were plenty.
The staff were prompt and the time taken to cook was quick. I can not wait to go back there again.

Best Philly cheese steak I've ever had! Amazing flavours and the brisket is amazing - so soft and it melts in your mouth. Generous serving of chips with tasty seasoning, however they were a bit dry.

Awesome experience food was loved all around.
If you plan on going here for dinner bring your appetite as portions are big but oh so worth it.

The restaurant isn't too small but isn't huge either so it allows the chefs to make the food with the extra love we all want when dining in.

Highly recommend and definitely would dine again.
Photo attached is the big burtha u believe it was a item on the special board and contained brisket pulled pork fried chicken 6 slices of bacon and 6 cheese if I remember correctly (not for the faint of heart)

Such a great find! Was just passing through Shepparton and spotted it as I drove past. They were happy to put together a custom meal for me and the brisket I had, was to die for!!! If I was local, I'd be a regular for sure!

Stumbled across this place while working in town, was so good we returned the following night. Highly rate the ribs & Bertha burger. Staff are awesome, friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere and value was fantastic. Will be my go to when ever in Shep.

Really enjoyed this resturant. The chicken is nicely battered and crispy, roast potato was beautifully seasoned with lots of flavour. The cubin rice was the best by far. Would definitely come back for more.

Delicious food, one of the best burgers and chips we have had in a very long time

Little bit pricey but huge serving. The meal shown in the pic attached was a little over $40 but was mor then enough for two people to share, in fact we had leftovers took them home and ate the rest of it there. All meat was cooked well and not dry, chips almost perfect with crunchy outside and very fluffy but not dry inside. Staff were very nice and took there time explaining the specials. Food arrived at the table very quickly and piping hot. Nice flavours but a little on the subtle side. Very funky decor and nice setting. When we went at 11:20 am and there were alot of families with children so maybe steer clear if you have a headache but other then that very nice place.

Working in town and cycling past I stopped in, greeted and made welcomed, the Philly Cheese Steak was recommended. The BEST I have ever eaten! Perfect amount of melted cheese with a tasty sauce and melt in your mouth 16 hour Steak!! A generous serve of Seasoned fries to match.

Dearest readers, I have had a profound experience and it is called BarcaLove. Let me explain, as you enter, you are greeted by an old style brick restaurant, with many multi coloured chairs for you posterior to sit. And let me tell you, these seats are sooo cute. Buuuut, the truly most fantastic aspect of entering BarcaLove, is the service, oh my gosh the service is like nothing I have ever experienced. I was greeted by a wonderful server, whom made me feel sooo welcome, with huge smiles, and a vivacious personalit. I would go back again and again just for the customer service. As I and my fellow diners sat down, the server came to us and with the gretast of pasion and joy, spoke to us off the specials for the day. I was flawed. I had never had such service, I felt so special.

However all the above being said, let us speak of the star of the show, the food. I myself had a Philly Cheese Steak, the American-ness of the meal intrigued me. LoL's
The food was brought to out table in what seemed mere moments, and the wait was still excruciating for the smells of smoked meats is intoxicating. My pic below is the hot dog shaped one. The others are what my friends ate.

I could go on and on my dear readers, and speak of the first bite, as the gooey cheesy, smokey explosion overwhelms your senses, and the seasoned chips, compliment wonderfully. All the while the wonderful team at BarcaLobve make you feel as welcome as family. 10/10, two 👍👍way up. BarcaLove, do yourself the favour.

Great tasting ribs and probably the only place in Shepp to get food like this. A little pricey but it’s what you get for their great quality. Wouldn’t suggest trying to eat the rib platter by yourself though like I did 😭
