Amazing Vietnamese food for a special occasion.

The quick lunch set menu had delectable dishes which were nice and light. The staff were very friendly in their service.

Expect to spend ~$35 here.

Absolutely love the food and service here. Kingfish sashimi was really fresh and yummy. I had this funny sounding dish wrapped in a betel leaf. Yummy too. Tasted like really yummy mystery meat to me. I think it was called kapulu.

I had grilled corn. I never knew something so simple can taste so good. It's magical

Then for my main course I had the pork and barramundi. You definitely need to try them if you have space.

The pork had thin crispy skin and came with this sweet dark sauce. The dish reminds me very much of Chinese suckling pig drenched in Chinese sweet sauce. It's supposed to be wrapped in a leaf of lettuce with a flap of noodles and some fish sauce. The crunch from the pig skin, the deep sweetness from the sauce , the crisp and fresh taste of the lettuce; together they boogie harmoniously in my mouth.

The barramundi was in small bite sized cubes. Now what surprised me is that it's pan fried, the skin is super crispy BUT the flesh of the fish is soft and juicy. It's incredible.

This place has really rich variety, be it vegetarian or meat, never disappoints. We went with friends, ordered a lot of food, everything was super tasty.
The service was very good. I specifically recommend veg rice noodles with ref bean paste, it was good level of spice and the dessert did wonders. Lychee cider was a new taste for us

I think I’ve found a new favourite! Came here with a group of ten. Loved the venue, staff were fabulous, even with the complicated dietaries the party had, and the food was delicious. I want to go back!

Would HIGHLY recommend. Food was decently priced and you definitely get what you paid for. Don't be fooled by the lack of food posts on Instagram if you're that type of person (because IG posts do not determine how good a place will be). Food presented super well and was filling.

Great collection of Vietnamese cuisine combined with cocktails induced with viet flavours in a cool setting. A must visit to savour some mouth watering tongue tingling food. We love the Chef's selection without bothering of what to order and what to leave behind. There is more than enough food to fill one up and more.

Delicious food, great cocktails and very friendly service. I would highly recommend.
They are very accommodating to all dietary requirements, vegetarian, etc.
They do charge a cake fee if you bring your own cake.

We got the most of our best bits. It's like having the entire menu! We had the edamame beans, lime cured hapuka, mum's pork and veggi spring roll, chicken bao buns, and crispy pork hock (which was by far my favorite!) Ambiance is amazing, our servers were really good (didn't get their names though) but they did an awesome job! Credits to the chef and the kitchen team for providing a palatable experience. Definitely going back!

Came here on a Saturday night and had the $69 banquet. Wow what can I say the food is amazing!! The fish with black bean sauce was the stand out, and the edamame was the best I’ve every tasted hands down. The friend chicken bao tasted like a healthy asian kfc - so delicious. The only criticism is that they gave us the full menu and the waitress asked us what we wanted to order, but didn’t tell us we had to have the banquet until we prompted. Aside from that minor detail, it’s a 5/5 for this place!!!

Banquet option was good as it has a good variety of dishes. All dishes were fresh and full of flavour. Service was good. Grilled sweetcorn was delicious.

Travelling solo on a business trip and found this place a bit by chance - best ‘chance’ restaurant discovery ever!

Staff are really engaged with the customers, totally professional throughout. Unisex rest rooms are modern and very clean.

Probably totally packed at peak times.

Loved the pork and fish..great ambiance and friendly staff..only criticism is service is bit slow and portion size is small..but happy to wait for quality food..be mindful google direction may be wrong and the entrance is from the Collins Street side..

Delicious upscale Vietnamese restaurant. We ordered a few smaller dishes including prawns, fish and tofu bahn mi's, and beef pho. All dishes were excellent, would highly recommend.

Amazing food and wonderful service. We ordered a range of small entrees including the pork spring rolls, roti bread, bah mi, chicken bao and finished off with a delicious desert of coffee panacotta. Every dish was delicious with great flavours. We will definitely be returning.

This restaurant has friendly, helpful staff, a vibrant atmosphere, and incredible food! But what made it stand out is their enthusiasm to accommodate different dietary requirements (in our case, low FODMAP. If you can, it's nice to make a reservation to let them know in advance what you need). We've been twice now and both times had a lovely chat with the staff about our needs and enjoyed the fantastic "most of the best bits" option with all the dishes cooked no onion, no garlic. Highly recommend Uncle Collins Street!

Nice setting (could be too warm in summer), relaxed friendly staff and excellent food. The tongue & cheek wrapped in bean curd is amazing (really) as is the crispy pork hock and soft shelled crab. BUT, the endamame (mixed with beer nuts and chilli salt) is so good that the kitchen has clearly leveled up to a new level!

dined in tonight with my boyfriend and he absolutely loved the soft shell crab and we both thought the edamame was incredible.
the pho was delicious and filling. the rice rolls were different to what we were expecting, but still good regardless.
the chocolate ganache dessert was delicious!
service was friendly and attentive! looking forward to coming back!
