We come here regularly for walks, playground and picnics. We get to eat at the picnic table while kids play nearby. Walking track takes us 45mins with 2 kids. Nice sunset view from the lake.

Lilydale Lake Park is an absolutely beautiful spot! Our dog and my family had a wonderful time exploring the nice grass walking paths around the lake. It's also a perfect location for photography in nature with the stunning scenery. There are food trucks available if you want to grab some breakfast or any meal for the day. The park is well-maintained and the area is clean, making it a great destination for a day out with family or friends. The playgrounds are also well-maintained and perfect for kids of all ages. Highly recommend visiting Lilydale Lake Park!

What a beautiful place! There is something here for everyone to enjoy.

The lake is so gorgeous and picturesque. There is a beautiful 2.5km circuit trail around the lake. It is not too slopy, so it is a pretty easy walk; however, if you get tired there are several benches dotted around the trail. This is a great trail to walk your dog. There were also so many cute ducks and ducklings paddling in the lake. The lake is also good for activities such as fishing and kayaking.

There is a large playground for the kids to enjoy. There is even a fun water feature, which perfect to play in when the weather is hot. Sheltered seating is available for parents to relax while supervising their kids.

There is lots of grass place for outdoor recreation activities/sports and for kids (or adults) to run around. There are also many BBQ facilities and sheltered picnic tables/benches available.

Love the playground and water park grandchild loves it there. Great food trucks and icecream really is a good place to go. One downside if you go for a walk watch out for the dog droppings lot of people there won"t clean up after their dogs.

Took my 2yo and 5yo niece for the Park and Waterplay. Absolutely amazing spot.. lots of swings, climbing structures (for all levels) , slides, bbqs, places to sit in the Shade, paths for kids to scooter or ride their bikes. Water Play area is perfect for the little ones. Toilets clean and close by. There was a Coffee van until 12 noon. Highly recommended

Probably one of the most underrated parks in the Melbourne area. Plenty of parking. The lake has two islands and is ideal for kayaking. Pele also uses it for swimming but I'm not sure how clean the water is for swimming. Plenty of bird life. There are lots of tracks and you can cycle all the way to Carrum from here.

It's ideal for all ages and I would go as far as saying it's wheel chair friendly if you have one that can handle dirt tracks.

The bird life is outstanding, so for all you bird watchers out there, there is a huge phenomenal variety in this area. Next time I’m bringing my binoculars and parking myself on a jetty or a park bench.

With the recent flooding, some of the benches aren’t reachable. Kinda of eerie actually, like out of a halloween movie or something.

My only wish is if they had more benches in and around the park. Still, this place is amazing!

Has everything you need. Clean toilets, picnic & barbecue areas, free parking, outdoor gym, mini yachting, kayaking, supping, walking/running/cycling track, dog training area and dog walking track, mini beaches, kids playground, history stories, views, library, fishing and more. There aren’t any restaurants and only consist of a coffee van, potato’s and donuts food vans. May be more in summer, not sure.

Very kid friendly and family orientated Lake. Eastern suburbs. It’s just lovely. Take sunscreen and a hat.

Oh and just try to be courteous to all people using the tracks. Keep left, pass right, listen for bicycle bells and move left. Don’t walk 4 in a row, this is selfish.
For safety too.

I don't know how anybody could complain about this beautiful, free, family-friendly community facility. Water play, food trucks, picnic spots, scenic walking... It really does have it all. The only struggle can be parking but, if you don't mind a walk, it's easy enough to park at the TAFE nearby and stroll down to the lake. Absolutely fantastic place to spend a day with the kids and the doggo.

Very beautiful and spacious place, especially the lake is massive and spread over large area. The lake is the major source of attraction for visitors. There are always certain number of people all over the lake, walking, jogging, running. Best place for perfect leisure time and there is enough space to fit in large groups of people.
There are many wildlife also, especially birds.

One of the most stunning spot to go for a run. So many activities to do over here. We went for our park run. Each circuit is 2.5km long. During our visit there were 2 coffee vans and 1 potatoes chips truck. Greta outdoor facility.

Lilydale Lake is a lovely place to visit where you can go for a walk, a jog, to ride your bike or enjoy a picnic. The track around the lake is a good size and has an offlead area for the dogs too. There's a decent playground that includes swings suitable for use with wheelchairs & younger children too. There's also a water play area, which is fantastic in summer. You will find plenty of space to set up a picnic rug. Plus there are dezcent & clean BBQ facilities as well as numerous outdoor table settings to choose from (there are undercover tables also. Parking is generally not an issue and is in close proximity to the public restrooms, playground & picnic area.

Absolutely lovely dog park with a little dog only stream that's clean and well aerated running right through it. Friendly people and well behaved dogs. Big enough to avoid people if you wanted to. Gorgeous place definitely worth a little extra drive

Great for kids or a relaxing picnic. Water park is busy on hot days but worth it. Other playground had my kids attention more though. Great walk around the lake takes me about 30-40min to walk. There's fishing groups, kayaking and a little beach area as well. Board walks around different areas of the lake and theres also food vans on weekends. It's a great spot ☺ get there early if you want a table or shade on the lawn though. Recommend taking a shade shelter.

One of the best parks in Victoria for kids and families. Beautiful lake and walking tracks. Lots of sheds and BBQ stations. Playground and water splash. All these together in one place.

Lovely park, with a great playground and water park, walking tracks, the lake for leisure activities. Limited tables and shade structures when the park is busy. However we took our own and there was ample lawn to set up.
