Niramaya Villas & Spa

I don't know if I can do this resort justice. It's stunning. Absolutely amazing accommodation in huge private villas, including a gorgeous private pool amid lush tropical gardens. The moment you arrive, the relaxation begins. We did have an issue while here, but this was handled so well that I have no complaints at all. I can't wait to come back.

Niramaya is beautiful and the villas are sensational!
Our long awaited family holiday was unfortunately cut short due to the cyclone coming through but we were made to feel safe and secure. Carrie was very helpful and when there was no power for a few days was understanding when we decided to make a dash for home (which we were lucky we did as soon after the roads and airport closed.)
We cannot wait to return to finish off our holiday in one of the amazing villas. Villa 44 where we stayed was so spacious and clean and perfect in every way.
Reception staff were also terrific and very helpful. ⭐
Highly recommend staying in this little slice of paradise in Port Douglas.

We booked a girls afternoon at the Niramaya Day Spa on our recent trip to Port Douglas for my mums 60th birthday. I cannot recommend this day spa enough due not only to its tranquil surroundings, but to its greatest testament - its staff. From the very beginning of the booking process I knew we had selected the perfect place to unwind- Mia was incredibly prompt and perfectly polite in her response to our booking and answering my many questions to accommodate the four of our individual needs. Mia is a genuine asset to the business and her warmth and passion is both contagious and a rarity! Even on the day, two of the girls in our group enquired of adding to their spa treatments of which Mia was more than happy to accommodate at last minute (which I know is not as easy as it seems!). The spa treatments themselves were an absolute luxury, my three companions RAVED about their massages claiming they had been the best they had ever had (Hawaiian massage has us hooked!) and my facial from Missy was sensational and relaxing- I left glowing!
Finally, whilst I sadly cannot remember her name, the young lady on Reception was absolutely gorgeous, friendly, personable and welcoming. Based on our experience with the incredible staff we saw in the short time at Niramaya, I would be incredibly inclined to book accommodation at their beautiful resort on return to Port Douglas in the future. Thank you!

Everything about Niramaya is paradise; staff have always been incredibly approachable and friendly, food is 🔥🔥🔥 and the atmosphere this place exudes is just ridiculous. Can't wait to come back!

Would like to thank the team (Kerry and Craig) for their assistance with our booking. Due to unforeseen circumstances our family was unable to stay at Niramaya due to the recent cyclones that hit port Douglas. Niramaya had lost power and offered a full refund which many companies don’t do. We received the refund thanks to them and were able to use this to rebook another holiday. We are disappointed that we were unable to stay here but will be definitely rebooking with them the next time we plan a trip. Thank you Niramaya for your professional and efficient customer service

Besides the amazing lush forest surrounds, and relaxing pool outlook, the breakfast special at the moment is brilliant quality & value for money.. The Staff are consistently friendly & I can't fault the service.. As locals we very much appreciate consistsntcy of quality & service. 👍🥰

We visited Niramaya Restaurant for their $15 breakfast special. Food was aplenty, as was the great service, and a beautiful view overlooking the wet edge pool. Highly recommend!

Words fall short of expressing our gratitude to the Niramaya team. We just had our wedding at Niramaya, and everything was beyond perfect. Our family and friends who all traveled to attend our wedding had an unforgettable experience thanks to the amazing team at Niramaya. Planning a destination wedding is never easy except for when you are lucky enough to have the wonderful Niramaya team helping. Loni was just the most attentive, kind and professional event planner I could have hoped for. She made the entire planning process so easy and stress free. The venue and service were immaculate, and we are still receiving compliments about the staff, service, and food! The food was outstanding, deserving of its own separate review, and the drinks list complemented the occasion perfectly. We would give Niramaya 100 stars if we could. We would like to give a big thank you to Craig and the reception team who went above and beyond with any accommodation requests or amendments. I highly recommend the full-body Hawaiian massage. Before the session, the masseuse ensured she understood exactly what I needed. She used different techniques, starting out gently and increasing the intensity throughout the hour. Afterwards, you can sit outside and have a cold tea, just relaxing and enjoying the view, so make sure to allocate plenty of time, you wouldn’t want to rush out!

My husband and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary with a dinner there and it was the most delicious meal we have had. Thank you!

Loved our time there. The villa could use some fixing, the odd downlight flickering and kitchen cupboards were push open and were a bit annoying. But overall, great stay... not busy and so peaceful. One of the best properties I have ever stayed in. Perfectly maintained lawns and greenery. Our villa was 27 and it felt like we were in the middle of a rain forest. Great property... the food and beverage credit is a great way to ensure guests really enjoy.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay here for 4 nights for the whole family. The villa is absolutely amazing. Private pool, open plan living, and very nice tropical garden design. It’s the best experience we’ve ever had.
Food and drinks are very tasty in the bar and lounge. Massage at the spa is a must try.
We definitely are coming back.

I recently stayed at Villa 24 and it was absolute perfection. Quiet, and private, it was filled with endless luxurious amenities. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, the grounds stunning and the Villa itself is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. Highly recommend!

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and can’t recommend it enough. This place is next to none, it is absolutely beautiful, the location, the villas, service, bar/lounge waiter staff, food etc, no need to travel overseas to Bali! The hardworking friendly staff deserve all the recognition, they go above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable and perfect which we appreciated so much - you definitely get what you pay for! The food was delicious and reasonably priced especially for the quality.This place is seriously paradise we enjoyed every moment. We loved it here and will definitely be coming back in future. Special thanks to the lovely Craig for upgrading us to another villa when our pool heating wasn’t working. Thankyou so much to the Niramaya staff for having us and making our stay a 5 star experience. We will certainly miss this place! Love Sam & Ash xx
