Aquaduck Sunshine Coast

We thoroughly enjoyed our hour-long Aquaduck adventure! Aside from bouncing over the road speed bumps, a very smooth and pleasant trip. Our Captain and Tour Guide were friendly, fun and knowledgeable, and shared many anecdotes and information about the area, much of which was new to me despite growing up on the Sunshine Coast.
This ‘kidult’ also loved the brief opportunity at the helm of Reggie!

Had such an Awesome time!!! The kids really loved it and they even got to be captains of the boat 🛥😁. Overall awesome experience and highly recommend for any families out there 😁.

I liked the commentary on board with a little bit of history of the local area, info on the wildlife and even local properties and surroundings ~ my kids were impressed with the seamless going into the water and back on dry land action of the vehicle and being able to be captain for abit! Thank you Jen and Tom!

A few years ago I hadn’t left my house for 5 years. I would go and get my food shopping and return home. I didn’t go out for coffee, I didn’t visit friends, I NEVER tried anything new. My medical conditions had deteriorated, anxiety had spiked and life just felt bad. I know it sounds negative but I want to be honest here

I honestly can’t believe my life and how’s it’s changed over this last year.

I have an amazing Support Worker who has initiative and drive. When Robyn found out about Cérge, a disability companion app, she asked me if I wanted to try it out and I am forever grateful.

The app allows me to tell the business what I need before I arrive which makes me feel very supported and seen. I am also able to get my bearings by viewing the Virtual Tour, very handy.

So get this, I have a terrible fear of water, an insane fear. Over the past 12 months with the help of Cérge and Robyn I have been able to visit swimming pools to help me work on this.

Well guess what! Today I went on Aquaduck!!

Can you believe it!!’

A BOAT!

I was nervous, terrified really. I mean swimming at an aquatic centre was scary enough, but being on the ocean in a boat is a massive learning curve and challenge for me. And only 5mins earlier this boat was a truck driving around Mooloolaba.

The staff were incredible and made me feel so at home. I felt like a bloke on the water, living life like it should be lived on the Sunshine Coast!

I smiled the entire journey home.

I felt so included, so seen and like I was able to do things I didn’t even allow myself to even dream of.

I was the guy, sad, sick, lonely and scared. And now I’m the guy who is brave, happy, conquering fears and experiencing new things.
I actually can’t believe this is happening.

I thought fun things were over for me. I was in a rut and here I am now!

I couldn’t be happier!

What a great way to see the sights on land and water. The crew are great and how cool to drive a "vehicle" into the water, cruise around and drive back out again. Very interactive. Thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Worth doing.

Ride was very nice ' speacially staff ' i forget a name of staff( Girl) she is very polite an nice ' And Bus oprator ( Jason ) He is Very good too ' very nice with Children much Appricate ' 🫡🌴🥥

We had the best time on the Aquaduck! Very friendly staff, great atmosphere and beautiful scenery with helpful commentary. Love how the kids get to drive with the captains cap on too. Definitely recommend for a great way to see Mooloolaba by land and sea.

We absolutely LOVE Reggie and the crew! This is our second time taking our grandchildren on the trip and have decided to make it an annual tradition. Tom is absolutely wonderful, so kind, welcoming and hilarious (he even recognised us from last year which shows just how much they value each customer!). Ellie also did an amazing job at keeping us entertained with her fun comments and infinite knowledge. Such a fantastic experience for all ages, we will definitely be back 👏🏻👏🏻💕

We travelled on the Aquaduck Tour on Wednesday 6th March. Loved the whole experience. My friend from NZ thoroughly enjoyed the trip esp. the water section. Highly recommend!!!
Driver Tom and his assistant Shannon were great hosts, lots of fun and we hope to see them again soon.
Would like to suggest the sound equipment be improved as we could not hear a lot of the interesting commentary over the noise of the aquaducks motor when on the road and Reggies comments were also difficult to hear.

Great experience. Loved the tour. Both the crew/tour guide and driver was great. Highly recommended. Specially loved the fact they let the kids drive this Boat/bus.

Took my two daughters (7 and 12) for a spontaneous day trip up the Coast.
We were looking for something to do and came across the Aqua Duck. Decided at 2.30pm that we wanted to go on it and we were able to book a ride for 4.15pm which we were very happy about.
The girls favourite part was being able to drive the Aqua Duck!
The Skipper and Tour guide were very friendly (and funny) and we absolutely loved the trip.
Highly recommended.

We went on Friday evening and loved it. The driver and host were great, even after a long hot day. It was a great little tour and cruise, and the kids loved “driving” the boat at the end, and the captain’s hat and duck whistles

This was a great experience and the kids loved it! Especially when they were allowed to drive the duck. It was hard to hear some of the commentary and some more details could have helped with some of the information that was provided. The staff were really friendly and made the trip enjoyable.

Had a great time, the little ones slept but that made a peaceful ride for us 😉

First time we have been on the Aqua Duck tour and I would highly recommend booking it especially if you have young children . Both tour guides were super friendly and knowledgeable. I’ll be booking again the next time we are on the Sunshine Coast .

Loved the experience friendly staff if you are a NRMA member you can purchase discounted tickets via the app. Great for kids we got late for our booking and they happily changed our booking to next day.

I took my whole family for our Christmas gift on Boxing Day 8 adults and 7 children under 4. They loved it. Jenn and Andy from aqua duck were fantastic with the little ones.

My boys and I had a great time on the Aquaduck. The host and the driver were both lovely and their commentary was interesting with lots of facts and stories about the area. We loved the way it went from driving on the road to being in the water, it was pretty cool!

We had such a wonderful Christmas party with our salon team and their kids, the kids were so excited as the Aquaduck rounded the corner they were jumping up and down with excitement yelling "Duck Bus, Duck Bus!" They loved everything from being able to sit at the back of the duck to hearing the duck talk to going into the water and even getting to drive the duck! I would recommend to anyone hosting a kids party.
