Franz Continental Smallgoods

Thanks to some friends, I discovered this shop that smells of German and European charcuterie. What a pleasure it is to feast on delicious sausages, charcuterie and other German specialities. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I now have this address in my favourites and will regularly pay them a visit. It's a real pleasure to rediscover the flavours of Europe.

It is an absolutely great opportunity to be able to buy authentic testing German small goods of the best quality. Also other delicatessen - like Sauerkraut Mustards and many more products of your choice available. So many demtations - the factory spotless and the staff very helpful - after all that - the waistline a different matter!!!!

It's amazing how much of good and authentic tasting stuff is hiding behind those doors, definitely it will be the place for me to return many times from now on 😋😋😋 Definitely worth 2 hours drive!

Delicious food, perfect for parties and special occasions, lots of variety. sausages and meats and they taste amazing. with christmas around the corner we love their hams and all the little nibbles. we have stopped in their a few times when we come to visit the Sunshine Coast, highly recommended them

Excellent selection of meats and kabanas, super fresh and plenty of different styles to choose from. Staff are always more than happy to assist with what I’m after, Worth the drive from the Gold Coast! Can’t recommend enough.

Great place to get authentic German small goods, stopped by on a whim to see what they have and keep going back for more every time I’m in the area. I’ll be getting my Xmas ham again from Franz, the best I’ve ever had.

Great food good price

My partner and myself drove up from Brisbane however, we didn’t realise the store was going to be closed by the time we arrived due to traffic.

We arrived at the store as everyone was pretty much finished with the close down for the day, and we were quite late.

One wonderful lady opened the door for us as she was on her way out of the gate in her car and allowed us to purchase the German products that we were looking for.

We have been yet to find another place that sell these products and after this experience I think we won’t ever be looking again other than Franz Smallgoods.

Just had some of the Nürnberger sausages. Absolutely awesome. Good range of all sorts of German sausages, Beerwurst etc.love it and will definitely go back when in the area again.

Came back, bought more, love the pepper beersticks.

This is an excellent place, probably the best in the Sunshine Coast. They offer a good choice of authentic European style meat products, locally made. The taste is great, always fresh. The staff is friendly, the prices are low. We buy our sausages and smoked meats only from this place, its cheaper and much better than what you can find in Coles or Woolworths.

I am German and have lived on the Sunshine Coast for 12 odd years. Found out about Franz only recently and its my go to butcher now, full stop. The butcher who served me knows every product he sells (because he makes it himself unlike most other butchers on the coast), is the most friendliest person you can come across and more importantly,,,send me back 35years ago in time when i was a little bubba, tagging along with grandma to the village butcher, the smell of a good butcher shop , the small talk, the service, everything... priceless!

This place is the real deal for Germanic smallgoods. Prices are amazing as is the variety, authenticity of flavours and cleanliness of the shop and production area. Can't recommend this place enough!
