Oakland Fish and Chips

I ordered Flathead and Chips and a Potato Scallop.
When the order came out I thought it was a mistake. There were 2 large Flathead Fillets. I expected one piece of fish. Cost was $7.80. I thought it was cheap for one piece at that price but 2 fillets. I don’t know how they do it. Cooked well and was excellent eating.
Even the humble potato Scallop was excellent
I highly recommend this business if you like you fish and chips.

Food is fairly priced, great sized servings, friendly staff, clean shop. And the food is great!! Highly recommend stopping in on way to Dam, Park or any leisurely activity. Best one in our suburb by far!!!

Nice little fish n chips shop with some outdoor seatings away from the town center. The fisherman's basket has generous amounts and it's only $14. Everything inside is yum. Sweet potato wedges and chips are both crunchy but not dry at all. Grilled fish is also nice. Overall, highly recommended.

The BEST Fish n Chips ever. Just like being back in Melbourne. And they know what potato cakes are! At last we found you. So Clean/ professional and excellent food. Thanks for the Lemon for the Fish. Easy parking, wide open spaces,get a Car wash whilst waiting. Awesome xxx🐟

Really tasty food!

Edit: met the owner today and he is a lovely bloke, hard worker, and again EXCELLENT food! The chips were superb! I always look forward to they days I can stop by and enjoy a feast. If you're looking for a local shop, with great customer service, and a staff that makes you feel like a member of the family, look no further!

Absolutely the best in Beaudesert fantastic staff excellent service food is the best anywhere in Australia burgers are really nice, huge fish and the best chips well done you deserve a 5 star rating i would recommend this is your first stop for a fantastic meal, great prices, cheaper than the rest but the quality is the best

We only not had a tasteful fish, prawn and chips for lunch as stopover at Oakland Fish and Chips on our way to Warwick from the Gold Coast but a also lovely chitchat with the owner. We'll surely dropby this place if we get by Beaudesert the next time.

Friendly service to the point of bringing out a temporary table for my friend and I to sit at so that we could enjoy our meal in comfort.

I have being a customer here since they first opened 3 years ago or so. In my humble opinion they do fish and chips in SEQ, great value, excellent staff, very clean High standard.

The best damn flake I have come across in years I cant eat most seafood so flake is all I can eat, haven't found a shop until now that can make a damn good flake. Afforadable prices and amazing staff thanks guys love your work.

For a Country town this F&C shop is better than most coastal stores. Love their grilled snapper.
