NAB branch

Incredible experience with the staff at NAB Maroochydore. They realised the urgency of my situation with an impending settlement on the same day and were able to prioritise me and my needs. So very grateful for their help.

Today we went to sunshine plaza branch for an urgent home settlement matter and we met the lovely lady Berri. Her customer care capability was totally outstanding. She really impressed us by her dedication and knowledge. She went our of her way to help us and to made us feel NAB’S valued customer. She is an asset to the NAB banking group. Keep up the best best work Berri.

The tellers are friendly. Especially, Cherly.
She is the kindest and most friendly bank teller I have ever met in Australia.
She's really helpful and has got beautiful smile. the branch is old and less convienent than other bank branches in sunny Plaza.

This branch is now located inside the plaza near Telstra. Pictures are old.

Tried to find Maroochydore branch as per maps. Not there. Rang centralised NAB, got same location. Put on hold as staff member called actual branch. Got cut off. Not a customer and probably never will be when location info is useless.

Unfortunately, I too have received poor service from this NAB branch. I've made a formal complaint through their complaints process and the result? "We will talk to the staff member about improving their customer service." However, I went back and the person is still there and rude as ever. Honestly, wouldn't be leaving this feedback, but I can see that this is just normal practice from this branch, so will add my experiences so others can avoid this place.

‼ 🚨 BEWARE ‼ READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE COMING TO THIS BRANCH ‼ 🚨

We don’t normally come in person to NAB branch, but me and my partner needed to withdraw a large amount of cash and we decided to go to this Sunshine Plaza branch. When we walk in we were greeted by the person at the door and ask what we were after. We told him we needed to cash out to purchase a car. He said we needed to book in to get a large sum but if it helps, the teller can give us $6k otherwise withdraw money every day until we get the desired amount. Which we were happy about.

So we lined up (its not busy) it happened to be Megan (teller) she said what do you need.
My partner: I want to withdraw $$
Megan :what!?
Me: We want to withdraw $$
Megan: No! Then she didn’t say anything (look at us as if we can go our ways) NO EXPLAINATION AT ALL how the withdrawal of large sum works but its fine we let her attitude go (since the guy at door already enlightened us earlier).
So I said uhmm the guy at the door actually said we can withdraw a maximum of $6k. So can we please do that.
Megan: insert your card and pin # it will be in 50s and ask for his drivers license.
We said thats fine.
After she gave us the money (I was also holding my nab card as I also want to be serve) so we said can we book an appointment to get our desired amount?
Megan: we can do Monday.
I said what about if we come tomorrow and Friday to get 5/5 as we really need it in cash to buy a car on Sunday.
Megan: NO I dont think we will have 5/5 each day for you and I DONT NEED TO TALK TO YOU SINCE YOUR ARE NOT THE CARD HOLDER!!
Me & partner: SHOCKED 🤯 😯
I then said you need to be nicer as you have been rude from the start! And I also want to use NAB service after this transaction but since you are rude I do not want to be serve by you.

How rude this Megan is!!! No wonder why this branch has a bad reviews. The fact that there were other ladies behind the counter, didn’t even bother to step up and find what was happening was shocking.

We are not the type of people who would make a complaint but our experienced was HORRIBLE!!!! WE WILL NEVER COME to this branch again.

Ps: kudos to the guy on the door, he should be on the counter not Megan!

Was horrible service system was down with eta of when it would be back online the branch manger kept trying to force me to do a manual transfer I kept saying I while wait

All Sunshine Coast branches are difficult to access.. Typical of banking branch downsizing in readiness for an even more unreliable cashless world..

Disgusting customer service, if you ATM’s aren’t working then have the curtesy to tell customers before they line up and waste time trying, or better yet have the common decency to apologise for the inconvenience you have caused, instead of blatantly ignoring us.

worst place to go waited from 9:30 since open and keep transferring between the counters because they are really busy attanding other customer when i am here since first few customer. very frustrating that they dont have time to attend or value of the client. if i can go lower then one star happy to do it as well.

Avoid at all costs! Lending/mortgage/business bankers useless.

I was very skeptical about leaving a negative review but reading other reviews made me feel though I’m not the only one who received such poor service.

I made contact with the small business banker name Garry.H, this guy could not have tried any harder to push me away to another lender. I first contacted him Friday morning asking if I can see him to which he refused because it was 7 day lockdown. I then asked if he can send me the application form so we can get the ball rolling, his response was. “I’ll see if I can flick you something through on Monday”(all he had to do was email, which I don’t think was too difficult). He also did question why I chose Nab and why don’t I just get a loan from elsewhere or where I’m banking. It made me feel as if this guy really didn’t want to do his job or maybe they are not commission driven.

Fast forward 2 weeks, he couldn’t get me what I wanted.

Thought I’ll try someone else. Contacted another banker, her name was Kerrie. She seemed helpful but I think Garry must’ve done something so bad in the system that my application was non fixable.

I then went to another lender, to a rival bank. I provided them with all the information that was needed, the exact same information. I was approved within 48 hours.

The reason for this review is, I don’t want people wasting their time at this branch. Especially if they’re applying for a mortgage, or a business banking loan. You’re better off going to a broker.

Nab please do not reply to this review and say, “leave a review on our site” . I rather leave a review here for everyone to see.

A never turning back client.

Came in to move the contents of my account and they said that my 2 forms of ID weren't sufficient. I wonder if that's required to move money into a NAB account?

Negativity 1 star, as said previously avoid home loan or lenders facilities.
Lost our paperwork twice with the first application 10yrs ago.
Now we wish to refinance as one of the properties on the loan has sold. Nothing but swings and roundabouts, you'd get further running on a treadmill. If I was to say which way is up they would look down.
Can't wait to sell the other property and be clear of this incompetence for the rest of our lives. NAB Not.Applicable.Bank

This location is still wrong many many months after others have flagged the issue. Please fix!

Branch no longer exists at Horton Parade. Take this off maps please so others don't waste their time like I have just done
