Wonthaggi Veterinary Clinic - Gippsland Vet Group

Transferred a cat over from the Peninsula as we weren’t happy with the care. The team in here were lovely and took him in after hours. Made sure we had regular updates on his care and progress, and they focused on his health and wellbeing rather than payment first. Care was very affordable, the the team were professional, friendly and empathetic. Definitely recommend them and definitely coming here in future! ☺

Unfortunately I had to put my two elderly dogs to rest 😪😪 and the Vet and nurse were amazing. So were the reception staff. Vet and nurse came to my house and were patient and very caring. Taking paw prints for me and even found my box of tissues as I was so upset. Very thoughtful and beautiful ladies. Highly recommend them.

I can't speak highly enough of the team at Gippsland Vet Group Wonthaggi and Newhaven. The clinics are always clean and welcoming with terrific facilities and equipment. In particularly, I want to acknowledge and thank our Vet Dr. Matthew Taylor for his outstanding level of care of our #1 girl Lily. Matt has been Lily's vet for a number of years and his skill, knowledge, care and professional approach is everything you want in a vet. Matt always takes the time to thoroughly explain every step of Lily's treatment, discuss care path options and goes above and beyond to ensure Lily has the best quality of life. Can't thank you enough Matt, you're a legend! Lily thinks so too ;)

Took my very sick cat to the one of the vets here. They were caring and compassionate and also considerate of our financial situation. Reception have also been kind and helpful. Cat is home, healthy and happy :)

After our cheeky labradoodle Maverick ate sausage rolls and a party pie, he needed a quick trip to the vet to induce vomiting. A huge thanks to Gabrielle for returning our call after hours and to Dr Matt for meeting us at Wonthaggi Veterinary Clinic to urgently get it all done. How kind and caring a visit the vet Belinda and vet nurse were in making a home visit to say goodbye to my dearest friend, my 17 yo Phantom. They took half an hour to make sure of every aspect. Thank you

Very clean facility, but very expensive. Unfortunately, it has put me off getting a dog cause of the Vet cost.

Our beautiful ancient boy took his green dream to the next life with the lovely staff fully empathetic and supportive.

Dr Belinda saw our pooch Saffi today and we were so impressed with her compassion, care and her demeanour.

Same as always - I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this Vet Clinic. We have been taking our dogs 🐕 there for 20 years+. Vets are very experienced and always go that extra mile to care for your pets.
They look after you as well, sometimes when you have a very sick pet the whole staff (vets and nurses) take their time to comfort you and explain things to you "in plain English". Cannot recommend them enough.

Very impressed with the after hours on call service! After moving to the area I was worried about finding a prompt after hours service for emergencies. We cant thank Dr Scott and Nurse Ash enough for their quick response to our elderly dog Teddy who was in extreme distress from what we thought were choking symptoms/?bowel obstruction. They were also lovely, empathetic and informative during a most stressful time!
