Williamson's Beach

Very Nice Clean Beach. Deep Water, Pretty Big wave during High Tides but really satisfying. Lots people doing surfer as well. One of my favourites for Surf Beach 😘

Be warned dangerous rips and currents.

Wonderful views to be enjoyed from Williamson's Beach.
The beach is a relatively short walk from the carpark.
You can enjoy the howling winds and the thunderous waves any time of the year.
A perfect spot for some fish and chips or a drink at sunset.
This remote beach is wonderful for walking and putting your toes in the water. As it is not patrolled, only strong swimmers in a group may decide to swim here.

5-10minutes walk from carpark.

Great place to watch the massive waves crashing to shore. Wouldn't be the safest place to swim, but we picked up some fish and chips from Wonthaggi and came here to eat and watch the waves and had a great time!
If you're planning on walking along the beach, bring big spray for the blow flies!

It's an easy walk to the beach from the car park. The return is another thing,..it involves hiking up steep dunes, if you're moderately fit, it will help. It levels out mostly going back to the carpark. It's worth the view of the water, the dumping waves and firm sand though. My 3 teenagers swam in it just fine.

Consider the walking to the beach is burnning hot make sure to walk with proper shoes and take sun umbrella

Beautiful unspoilt almost deserted beach

Nice quiet beach with good waves, quite cool water, and a long and pretty sandy beach with a duned fore-beach. The last bit of the walk down to the beach is a little steep and sandy, so maybe not suitable for the faint of heart.

Also started the 5km walk from the carpark but didn't make it far due to an agressive red bellied black snake near the start of the trail 🐍.

Despite that, a very enjoyable beach!

Beautiful spot; great for walking. Take care in summer as endangered hooded plovers breed here in summer. Dangerous beach for swimming, walk west for some good surfing.

Secluded beach with dangerous currents & bad rips, nice picturesque beach.

We all had real fun last Sunday afternoon. There were no one else after 5pm.
