The Wharf Mooloolaba

The Wharf Mooloolabah is a fabulous place to visit if you are in the area. It is right next to the marina on the Mooloola River. It has undergone some redevelopment in the last several years and is now a very popular spot for locals and tourists alike.
One of the most popular restaurants is Rice Boi and it is always full and you need to line up to get a table.
You can book any water activities here like whale watching, jet skiing, canal cruises etc.
There are many restaurants to choose from as well as an icecream shop and the popular Kenilworth bakery that makes delicious donuts.

The Prawn Star is so good for fresh seafood and drinks on any day. Fabulous service from the team there. Top spot! Casual - family or friends get together. Kids meals can be ordered on a QR code app sitting at the table, from a nearby restaurant, arriving in minutes!

A must visit if you are on the Sunshine Coast.... reminds me of Pier 21 in San Francisco.

You catch the Whale sightseeing and snorkeling boats from here, so seems like you will probably end up here if you are in town.

Thank goodness they finally did this up. It was such a wreck for the longest time. Now it's simply stunning. With amazing popular restaurants such as Rice Boi and many others, this is a rocking place to be. Beautiful for breakfast, lunch or dinner, this is now one of The Review Queen's favourite places to go on the coast.

A fantastic place to wander through. Great selection of restaurants and of course Sea World.

Clean and big area with lots of eateries and shops. You can go on canal cruise, sit by the canal, have lunch or just lazing around. It's windy there so don't forget to bring your sweater. Lots of carpark space.

Beautiful water aspect with loads of places to eat or drink with family and friends. Pubs bars restaurants and cafes all with indoor and outdoor areas. Water views local fresh seafood. Our favourites are Prawn Star if you love seafood , Squires pub, The Dock or Rice Boi if you don’t mind waiting in a queue to get in … Very popular with tourists and locals. Try a sunset Cruise or whale watching on #whaleonemoolooabah we did it was amazing or maybe your more adventurous…try a dive boat or swim with the whales they all leave from here. There are all sorts of shops in the new redevelopment that is still in progress. It has made this an exciting fun place to be. Free 4 hour parking out front.

If you like prawns there are boats moored at the wharf, that you can jump on and eat prawns! Super cool.

The Wharf has developed into a major attraction for locals and tourists alike. It has a variety of trendy shops, cafes, bars and some excellent restaurants. It is also the hub for cruises of all kinds. We took the Canal Cruise - one hour of relaxing cruising on a lovely old vessel, ably skippered by Callan and hosted by Raine. Afterwards we went to James Squires pub for some very good food and drinks. Sea Life is also here, great fun for the kids. Parking can be an issue, so arrive early to find a space.

Hired a 2-people kayak for 1 hour with my son. The paperwork was done quickly. The staffs were really friendly and professional.

Lots of nice restaurants and a few cool boutique clothes shops. Try the doughnuts with coffee inside and the Italian.

We enjoyed our trip to this place. The range of animals are extensive and there is a relaxed atmosphere. It is also easy to walk through. Everyone was friendly and you can also get food and coffee.

Such a beautiful place to come for a nice bite to eat and boat watch! Heaps of parking to make it easy. There's a cute little lollie shop here too.
