Great range of products and really friendly and helpful staff. As a person who doesn't know anything about bikes, I'm really grateful to the man who works here, who was super patient helping me with a pump and bike lock, and also kindly helped me out with my bike lights when I couldn't figure out why they weren't working (they weren't plugged in lol). I'd really recommend the store!

The guys at NRG Cycles are brilliant & helped me out alot. I needed brake pads for my scooter and they not only had the brake pads, but also took their time to fit them there & then on the spot. Highly recommended for both sales & customer service.

Fantastic friendly bike shop. No ego with these guys. I have been to other local bike stores (no names but they are very… purple) where they would not even look at me or serve me when I walked in, because I’m not a MAML (middle aged man in Lycra, aka a wealthy mid-50s corporate type who takes himself way too seriously as a budding Tour de France contender. Dream on dudes). I am a mum, I just wanted a kid seat fitted to my inexpensive, unexciting bike so I can drop my daughter to daycare. They were consistently courteous, generous and helpful. They put aside their last seat for me for a week until I could bring in my bike - without requesting so much as a deposit. I waited while they fitted the bike seat and even though it was a fiddly job involving extra parts they only charged $20 for labour (the cheapest alternative quote I got for this job was 99 bikes who said $50-60). Finally, when I decided at the last minute to buy a kickstand as well they fitted that on my bike as well, free of charge. If you’re looking for knowledgeable , inclusive, welcoming service, as well as excellent value for money, this is your bike shop. 👏👏👏🚴🏻‍♀

Great range of stock, including workshop spares which is very useful. Erin in the workshop is also top notch with a wealth of knowledge. Everyone there is always a pleasure to talk to and very helpful.

Prices are very competitive, even against online shopping. I'm generally after pretty obscure stuff and/or advice and they haven't let me down yet. 5/5, this is my favourite bike shop in Brisbane.

The whole crew are a pleasure to deal with. Had my bike picked up, gears adjusted and dropped home all on the same day, no issues just smiles. Very reasonable prices. Paid over the phone, no hassles. Loved them when they were at Jindalee, love them just as much now. Thanks NRG, I will always be back and will tell all my cycling friends it's worth the trip to the city!

NRG cycle saved my day! I was about to go riding with my kids when I realise that the chain on my bike was hanging and the pedals wouldn’t move. I went into the shop (never been there before) and they took care of it straight away without charging a dollar! They were super helpful and friendly, and truly saved the day for me and my kids.

It is an absolute pleasure to deal with the whole team. I have used the shop to demo some bikes. I bought one of the bikes I demoed. Today I had the bike serviced by Nick to absolute perfection. Really happy with this shop after over an year of dealing with them. I cannot recommend them enough! Special thank you to Nick.

Bought a great Scott MB off these guys a few years ago. All servicing gets done by them and I always go back even though they've moved into town. Highly recommend the friendly and thorough service. The bike always runs good as new. Thanks Heath, Erin and crew.

I visited the shop for the first time this morning with a mechanical issue and was able to leave the bike there. I also picked out some replacement parts which were fairly priced. Only a few hours later the bike was fixed and accessories installed. I am a very happy customer, both with service and price. Thanks guys!

Ok so it’s been two years since I bought my first bike here and I’ve been their happiest customer ever since. Their (Nick, Erin and Heath) customer service is second to none, their communication is first rate and their advice is without bias, very rare in today’s online market. I look forward to many more years supporting my local bike shop.

Down to earth staff you can have a laugh with.

Dropped my bike off for a check, maintenance and fitting of new parts. Quality job...! Well priced too.

Would and will go back for anything else in the future.

Had a great experience outfitting the whole family with new bikes here.
I had been to a couple of other stores where the impression was that if I'm not riding in the Tour de France then why bother.
New owner Heath was helpful and knowledgeable and didn't try to push us into anything we weren't ready for.
Seemed to have a good range of kids bikes for our girls and hybrid Trek bikes for my wife and I as well as all the fancy road bikes and MTBs.
Everyone got fitted up properly for the new bikes with a test ride and they saved me some money with common sense recommendations about which accessories we need and which we can do without for now.
It's a shame there are some negative reviews still on here from the previous owners, hopefully that can get cleaned up because it certainly doesn't reflect our experience.

I bought my first bike from Merv in about 2012 and have been travelling to these guys for the bulk of my cycling purchases since. Staff have always been incredibly helpful and always suggest the most suitable item, not the most expensive - I have been "downsold" on various parts a number of items which is unfortunately rare.

Not sure where the negative reviews are coming from but I've never felt anything but welcome here and all 3 bikes have been excellent.

Thanks for helping me out today guys. Had a crash near NRG cycles. Went to the shop straight after to get it checked for safety before riding home. They fixed it staright away without any charge. Special thanks to the workshop mechanic, Erin. Definitely will be choosing you guys for my future bike servicing and purchasing. Thanks again.
