The whole team did a great job tonight (Good Friday) managing a huge flow of orders and frustrated customers. Due to it being a public holiday the wait time was longer than usual, but the customer service girls were great to give a curtiousy call for online orders to give updates on the wait time. You guys managed yourselves in a very professional and positive way tonight despite some very frustrated customers.
The food is always good, hot and very generously served. I hope many others appreciate your hard work :)

A great fish and chips place! I ordered the kid’s fish and chips with pineapple fritter. The cod fish was fresh, pineapple fritter was juicy and the chips were crispy! The best part! It’s not oily and greasy!

As someone who grew up obsessed with Macca's fish burger, the Kraken burger from this spot is like the better, fresher adult version of my childhood favorite. The chips were pretty solid too, and the staff were nice. One thing I didn't like was the limited seating options and lack of breeze. Could feel pretty stuffy when the place is packed. However, I would definitely come here again.

I tried this shop after trying a few others around inner Brisbane North, searching for good fish and chips at a reasonable price. I've stopped looking, as this place is great. I placed my order for gluten free, which was delicious. Crisp light batter and not oily. A generous fillet of fresh tasting fish and chips that tasted like 100% potato.
The shop assistant was friendly and attentive, being careful to warn me that the crab stick I ordered could not be done gluten free.
I believe they won an award for best fish and chips 2023 Queensland (or something like that). Thoughly deserved I reckon, keep doing what you're doing guys, and don't change a thing. I'll happily drive the 10k round trip from the city for quality like this.

Great food, value for money (huge servings) and friendly and efficient service. Loved it all, battered prawns were to die for. They were busy and although told 15 mins it was quicker. Everything cooked to perfection 👌.

Tonight, my husband and I visited the store to place an order. While there was a slight delay, the service was excellent. The young blonde server was extremely kind and provided excellent service all around. The dinner was freshly prepared, and the chips were hot and crunchy. Will be coming back!

I literally walked past this shop every time I do my vegie shopping. Each time, there is always a crowd. So intrigued by the crowd. I decided to pay them a visit. I ordered my fish burger meal deal. They sell fresh fish on the premises not a huge selection but great to know. For once, they advertised as a seafood place.lol The staff are very friendly and quickly took my order. There is seating available outside the shop If you want to stick around while you enjoy your meal. Now for the most important thing..taste. I wasn't disappointed, the fish was cooked perfectly. Crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. I definitely enjoyed 😉 my meal. Will come back for more. Highly recommended ✨ 👌

You may experience a small wait if ordering over the phone but it is certainly worth it! The serving sizes are large and the flavours taste fantastic. I would highly recommend this restaurant

Had "The Colubus" burger today Oh my Giddy Aunt best burger I have had in quite sometime. Double Meat patties were so good All ingredients were fresh and tasty. I'll be back to try your other burgers soon.

Love this place.. fresh or cooked seafood is always on point. Today we had the hungry pirates pack and it’s such good value and comfortably feed 6 adults. Always so tasty

Arguably the best fish and chip shop in Brisbane. Fresh seafood, great gluten free options, and fast. Glad we live close to it.

Worth the drive from Ipswich, It doesn't get much better them Clayfield seafood they do everything spot on.

The burgers are soo good 😋 the fish is fresh and crumbed and cooked perfect the chips are classic fish and chip shop chips ones you remember growing up eating on the water front. Can't go wrong with any of the dips the Tartare is tangy and full of flavour.

Order ahead if possible they do get busy during weekends at dinner time.

Everyone was super friendly and food was great! There was a younger staff member maybe about 15-16 who served us, she was friendly and accidentally charged us for an extra burger which she rectified quickly and they even gave us that extra burger. Definitely recommend

Quality seafood smorgasbord for any type of seafood fancy including preorders. Great choice for that special taste.
Compact outlet, but suited the requirement.
I’ve sourced other fish markets including Sydney Fish Market, Pyrmont. Clayfield is up there in comparison.

Agree with other review for fresh seafood delivery as we tried it for the first time and got a kilo of prawns and oysters and turned up quickly in a styrafoam box with loads of ice and some lemons

I love the Nippers Burger! I wish their online sites let you order it with a gluten free bun but you can get one in person. They also give you chips with it and it makes me happy. They also sell chips separately too for super great value like the larger chips give you so much! I think the Nippers one is my favourite burger ever because it is simple and yummy and I know it’s supposed to be for kids but I think it’s awesome. The gluten free bun actually is soft and tastes like real bread which is amazing haha
