Cairns 24 Hour Medical Centre

I had a great experience at the 24 hour clinic. I am visiting from USA and I walked in hoping to get an appointment to have my ear looked at prior to going diving. The staff was super friendly and helpful on filling out the forms since I don’t have a local address or phone. I was told it could be anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour before I was seen but I was taken back in probably 10 minutes and after a quick, yet thorough exam by the MD, I was on my way. I highly recommend giving the clinic a try if you need anything. My only complaint is that without a local Aussie phone number foreigners are unable to schedule an appointment online.

I arrived 20 minutes before my booking time and saw my doctor just about spot on my booking time. Staff were fantastic and very friendly. I was treated exceptionally well by the Dr I saw. She came across as a very caring and compassionate woman. She didn’t rush the consultation and took the time to listen. She enquired about my overall health and how I was feeling which was well beyond the reason I was there. For a bulk billing clinic where from past experience with other similar clinics where they try to get you in and out as quickly as possible her treatment was excellent. This lady genuinely cares about her patients and I was extremely impressed with her professionalism. I can’t express how much I appreciate the treatment I received. I would highly recommend this Dr to others who need medical assistance.

Had a great experience today at the cairns 24 hour medical centre. The doctor kindly listened to my son who required a letter for his diagnosis and I required some medicine urgently. The doctor then provided us with the things we required

The reception people are very competent and efficient and organised us with grace and professionalism. Thanks to all the lovely staff.
With a chemist right next door it is so convenient.

My appointment was on time. I didn't have to wait. Dr Afreen was thorough and caring. I didn't feel rushed. Reception staff were lovely. The nurse who gave me my flu shot was very professional, friendly and reassuring.

Really friendly reception easy to become a new client and literally fitted me in within the hour after calling and seen right on my appointment time.

Staff were amazingly very quick and sufficient as soon as they opened up. Doctor was also very helpful and friendly upon my visit for today. Best doctors in town too visit, if your ever feeling sick and unwell. I highly recommend too call in and book for appointments just because its more easier to do and your also saving yourself time from waiting in the queue, if your going to walk in. Cause everyday is different. It all really depends on how many doctors they have to start with.

Really busy at the practice when i walked in today, the receptionists were attentive and lovely to everyone whilst also answering the phones etc - superstars!
I was seen really quickly by Dr Paul and he talked me through what i needed very professionally, along with the lovely nurse i had (cant remember his name sorry!) So grateful for my experience today, has given me alot of peace of mind

I had to wait about 1 hour until a very friendly doctor treated me. She explained everything well and I thought her decision was good and understandable. As a foreigner, I had to pay myself. The price is reasonable. I would go there again.

Karen was great help today, I had some issues with test results taking a while from a 3rd party, Karen got straight on the case and managed to get the results for me and got the doctor to take a look in the space of one morning, defiantly recommend

We are visiting the area and my five year old was squeezed into an appointment and the doctor did not rush us through one bit. He was thorough, listened and gave clear explanations about the possible illness. He was amazing and someone I would highly recommend for ongoing treatment.

I was unable to get an appointment with my doctor for the next 4 days and went to Cairns 24, I received best advice I ever had for my ongoing issue. Dr. Gavin LeSueur was thorough and didn’t rush, answered all of my questions and I waited only 15 min without any appointment. All of that for free under the Medicare. Excellent

Very friendly staff , reception staff is very friendly and welcoming. Doctors take time and do their best . I have experience with
very unfriendly staff at some Doctors surgeries in Cairns but 24 hours Medical centre is very good.

Simply perfect.
Love it and above all bulk billing with a touch of care and understanding.
Great people working there.

I highly recommend this clinic to anyone, especially someone from outside Australia. I’m from Canada leaving tomorrow on a three-night overnight scuba diving trip from Cairns. I have severe seasickness and wanted to get medical advice about what to take to prevent it while out on the ocean. Once I registered with the front desk, I only waited 15 minutes to see a very knowledgable and caring doctor who answered all my questions and gave me prescriptions for two different anti-nausea pills. For this excellent service, I was only charged AU$90 - a real bargain, considering the fast and efficient service I received.

Very easy to book your appointment online. And check in with touch screen machine when you arrive. Great experience. Dr. Mona was an amazing doctor. Thanks for her great service and care about her patient.

We were on family holiday and went for consulting. Paul the GP was great really gave me comfort that my daughters issue was nothingto worry about, piece of mind. . We did not have an appointment so appreciate they took walk ins.
