It’s hard to find good old-fashioned values anymore. Fortunately, they are alive and flourishing on the corner of Kitchener and Sefton roads at Hendra Motors.

I have had my car serviced here since 2017. The workmanship is excellent, the pricing is very reasonable and the service is first class. If further repairs are unearthed during servicing I am always contacted first so I can decide to have those works completed or not. Personally, I like good quality parts - even when they cost more. That said, I have been pleasantly surprised on more than one occasion because a cheaper part was found that was still met standards. Such is the integrity of Ray and the team. They are honest, reliable, transparent and fair - rare commodities these days.

I’m very happy to recommend Hendra Motors for any mechanical work from simple servicing to full on engine overhauls or delicate work on vintage and classic vehicles. My only regret in adding to all these five star recommendations is that they may be too busy to see me!

60 series cruiser, was over fueling and not shutting down, Ray not only diagnosed the problem, but had the very part I needed Australian made and engineered, in their workshop.
I received my new fuel relay promptly to WA at a reasonable price, and has since fixed my issues with the cruiser, cheers guys

Awesome to deal with and extremely helpful. I was having trouble finding an alternator for my 24v Landcruiser but these guys were able to find it no worries. If I have trouble finding parts in the future I know I'll be coming back

Exceptional service. Vehicle broke down over Easter, was towed to Hendra motors Tuesday around lunchtime, they assessed leaking clutch line, ordered part and fixed before the end of same day. I drove 4WD away that afternoon, now that’s service. Thanks heaps

I had a wonderful experience getting my car serviced at Hendra Motors this week. Abboud was very kind and honest in recommending what my car needed immediately for safety, and also things that could wait for another time. There was no upsell, and he actually recommended I shop around for tyre deals elsewhere. When I collected my car he took the time to explain exactly what was done and why, and my bill ended up being less than my quote. Just a lovely guy and a beautiful family business. I will no longer dread getting my car serviced!

If you want your vehicle properly cared for then Hendra Motors is the only place to go for servicing.

Found plenty of issues with my old car (understandable as it had near 200,000km on the odo) but walked me through each issue and showed me physically when possible and gave me detailed descriptions of what else needed fixing if I decided to take it elsewhere for the issues that required further work outside of the service.

Being fairly new to Brisbane, I had no idea who to trust the service of my elderly and troubled car to. I knew of their existence from going past there every day on the bus to work and thought when the time came, I would give them a try. I usually look for reviews to see what others had experienced but there were none for Hendra Motors. However, liking the sound of what I read on their website including how long they had been established, family run business, open extended hours, pick up service available etc, I booked my car in for a service and to check an oil leak. I had to wait almost two weeks but I took that as a good sign. I didn’t ask for a quote because I had the attitude if I wasn’t happy with the service, I could cross them off the list and never go back again. I can only assume that the reason I am the first person to post a review is that all their customers are trying to keep them a secret.

I dropped my car off at 7.00am and received a phone call at 11.00am with a complete assessment of my car. While the news was anything but good, the thoroughness and honesty of the appraisal was utterly impressive and totally unexpected.

When I picked my car up they took the time to go through the problems again in more detail even though it was obvious they were busy. I almost felt guilty when I paid the bill as it seemed miniscule compared to the effort they had put in. Unfortunately my best option is to buy a new car and they even offered to give an opinion when I made the decision. There is no doubt in my mind who I will be taking it to for any mechanical work. This business exceeds expectations and deserves recognition.

Fantastic experience! Quoted me $100 less than the larger mechanic companies did. They were fully booked but found time to fit my car in as it was very unsafe to drive. Great experience and will definitely be recommending to my friends and family :)

The owner is just one of the nicest person I've met in my life. He simply doesn't treat his customers as income source, he wants them to be satisfied with the service provided. He cares enough to explain into details the issues he may find in the car. Absolutely trustworthy.

Rang in the morning for a safety certificate and they were able to do it the same day. Didn't find anything that needed fixing but made a sensible suggestion for some optional work I'd been thinking about doing anyhow. Had the car back that evening. Excellent service. Thank you!

Had Ray undertake a pre-purchase inspection for me on a Toyota Landcruiser. I could not have been more impressed with the thoroughness of his work. Ray gave me his honest views on what the issues were and the approximate costs associated with remediation. The most helpful mechanics I’ve ever been to!!!

I came in two weeks before Christmas for advice on my Forster xt and the boys took it in even with the overwhelming amount of work they had.

Really can’t even explain how grateful I am for the late nights you spent working on it over the last week, so I could have a car through Christmas.

The forester is running better then ever and thank you so much for doing the headlights they look amazing !!!!!!!!!! Couldn’t believe it when I got home.

Called up yesterday as the car was making a strange noise, popped in and was seen immediately by Abboud. After a quick two minute inspection he worked out what the problem and was on my way...great service once again! Would certainly recommend these chaps :-)
