They harass you with phone calls and pressure you to buy wine. For over 2 years I have kept telling them I was either pregnant or breast feeding and therefore don’t need any wine, yet they keep on suggesting boxes and calling with new boxes I don’t want. I was sent and charged for a box I never asked for, and then hounded with calls, emails and debt collector emails to pay them. I have emailed them multiple times to tell them to cancel my membership. Now I’ve paid the last invoice just to get them to hopefully leave me alone.

Absolutely abysmal. My wife and I tried some sample wines at an event and signed up based on these tastings. The wines we received at home, and tasted so far (Tomich Hill pinot noir, L'artiste Tumbarumba pinot noir, the Lane sauvignon blanc) were absolutely diabolical. Couldn't even drink the pinots and managed the sauvignon with soda water. I can't believe these guys actually sell wine at 20 bucks a bottle that's worse than the cheapest stuff you find at the bottleo. Avoid at all costs.

An unfortunately terrible experience with this company, do not recommend.

They seem nice and friendly when you meet them. They misleadingly describe their subscription service as ‘free’, of course nothing is free. Be warned do not give this company your details - once they have your details, it’s very hard to get away from them, they bother you non-stop.

When requesting to cancel they completely ignore your wishes - Even after I received an email confirmation of my cancellation, they still continued to pester me non-stop to try to get me to change my mind. Particularly as an alcohol company I think this is unethical, if someone wishes to cancel their wishes should be granted and they should be left alone.

They also don’t follow RSA or request packages to be signed for when delivering alcohol, which is irresponsible.

Wine Selectors customer service is appalling. By phone they are very pushy and rude. When asked for their complaints process I was told to fill out the contact us form on the website (which wasn’t working). I finally found an email address to write to but have had no response, it’s been 6 months and I haven’t received so much as an acknowledgement of my complaints. Very disappointing experience.

Never known a company to be harder to unsubscribe from shipments than this one. Sent them a form via their web page asking to cancel my subscription and that I did not want them to contact me to try and talk me out of this decision (like I knew they would).

They completely disregard this message and phoned me anyhow to try and talk me out of the decision.

I think that when you are selling a product such as alcohol you need to have a level of integrity and ethics as it can be the source of family and social dysfunction. In an age where drinking alcohol is becoming an increasing problem for some women and people are more educated, have the skills and vocabulary to speak up, take control of their lives, try to reduce the harm that their drinking may be causing to themselves (& those around them), this company completely goes against all of that and fails to respect the work that has been done in the area of women and drinking.

Their constant badgering and questioning as to why you want to cancel your subscription borders on harassment and is patronising to say in the least. When a customer wishes to cancel the subscription, it should be no questions asked.

I have felt like my privacy has been invaded and trying to take control of my life and work through what is a very personal issue is now being laid bare for all to see because this company won’t stop asking me why I want to cancel my subscription.

It is extremely triggering and upsetting that I have to go through this when I’m just trying to make choices to better my health.

This company does not act responsibly with regards to respecting customer’s wishes to have shipments ceased. They are very friendly and sign you up at the airport when you’re in a hurry and aren’t thinking clearly or are in holiday mode and relaxed. But buyer beware!

Once they have your details and sign you up, it’s very hard to get away from them. I specifically told the lady who called me that I had already said I did not want to be called to be talked out of my decision so they then sent me an email asking me the same thing.

I’m not sure how staff remuneration works at this company but if it is based on customer retention then I suggest they think of a new way to reward and pay their staff. I don’t know how some of these people go home at night when they know the damage and stress they have caused to people during the working day.

DO NOT SIGN UP! They will call every day. Seriously every day, sometimes more than once a day. It’s nuts!! Ive had to complain to Optus because they use a number spoofying system so you can’t just block their number.

We've been Wine Selectors' members for a few years now and never had any issues however the last couple of years deliveries have been severely delayed. I do understand there are issues due to Covid but I don't understand why I can get deliveries to Brisbane from overseas (via NSW) faster than from NSW.
The last order was meant to be my husband's birthday present and it took 5 weeks. During that time we've made multiple calls to Wine Selectors and the courier company to find out where the wine was and all we got was "Covid" excuses.
Today we walked outside to find the wine sitting at the door - the delivery person didn't even knock! It's been over a month! We don't know where this wine had been - could've been cooking in a hot warehouse!. Seriously not impressed.
We had requested a refund a week ago and instead of processing it they just dump the box at the door! Wine Selectors customer service throughout had been appalling. Now we have to deal with this box taking up space because who knows how long it'll take them to organise the pick up. Not happy!

The only way to cancel your subscription is to talk to extremely pushy sales people. Very bad experience and wines weren't great
