Essence Suites Taringa

Stayed at Essence in Taringa now twice both trips for medical reasons needing to access the private hospital above. Very convenient as a patient. Reception staff have been very friendly and easy to speak with on the phone and in person.

Also needed to extend our stay last minute which they were able to do so.
First stay we had a queen size bed, so definitely recommend upgrading to the king as it was far more comfortable for us as a couple.

My only feedback is please consider more comfortable mattresses they are very firm. We bought our own pillows this time and like I said upgraded to king which was much more enjoyable.
Fantastic overall. Will definitely stay again if needed and recommend.

Firstly I would like to highly commend the Manager Salman for his outstanding customer service via email. Due to unforeseen circumstances I required the 2bdrm all accessible suite for 4 nights. Salman was incredibly helpful and secured my booking for the dates needed - February 2024.

Absolute big shout outs to Coen who’s customer service at the counter and on the phone -bloody stellar. Really appreciated all of his assistance. The entire team of staff were very very helpful.

The layout of the 2bdrm space is the reason we return - our 5th booking pretty sure. Love that the secured locked parking is on site and I’m happy to pay for it per day.

Location is great for Indro’ shopping centre, or 10 mins to SouthBank.

We stayed here for our wedding, along with some of our guests. The staff were so accommodating and helpful. They provided us our own code to give guests to book under. The room was beautiful and we loved the views of the city. It was in a great location with train station next door and was so close to our venue. We were surprised to get back to our room and they had put a bottle of champagne and a candle in our room while we were at our wedding, it was a lovely touch. We loved staying here and will definitely be back!

Kate, Salman, and Dana are truly the most wonderful human beings you will ever come across. They provide the best customer service with care and compassion.

I stayed here twice during a span of two weeks for a medical procedure and I was treated with so much kindness.

During my second trip from 21st to 22nd November 2023, I had a late night flight and I couldn’t do much sightseeing due to the medical procedure.

Salman offered me a late checkout and the next day Dana advised me to rest in the guest lounge for however long I needed to.

I had the best time resting without worrying. Thank you, Team!

My flight got cancelled at 10pm. Salman, the manager, was able to accommodate me very late when about twenty other hotels wouldn’t. He waited around after his shift to ensure I got in and was just an absolute professional from start to finish. Businesses like Essence Suites should not underestimate the value that employees like Salman bring to their reputation. I would highly recommend this hotel purely based on the level of service… you might get places closer to the city or with bigger rooms, but when everything goes wrong, are they going to be as helpful and accommodating? I doubt it. 19/20 hotels that I called weren’t. Essence was! Thanks again Salman.

Incredible staff and fabulous service from Salman and Coen. Very polite, helpful, kind and accomodating. Thanks guys for being so amazing. Rooms are great, tidy and generously propostioned. Someone named Christina did make for an unpleasant encounter but not hard to ignore in the scheme of things. Would stay here again without hesitation.

An excellent place to stay, rooms are clean and well set out. Parking underneath the complex which is 20 per night if you validate when you check in. There is a Cafe on the ground floor that operates during normal office hoursand a vending machine for late night snacks. If thats not enough there is hungry jack's and an Indian restaurant a short stroll down the road. Essence is located directly above the taringa station and buses run straight past, so public transport is a breeze.
Will definitely be back.

A Beautiful corner room is the best. Clean everywhere, sheets are pure white.

Very nice place. Rooms are modern and clean. Staff are very friendly. Close to public transport. Great city views.
Just need more towel rails (only 2 small hooks). House keeping need to learn how to make a bed properly. (Got into bed, and the top sheet was tucked in up near my shins - short sheeted).

Neat room. Good views. Comfy bed. Found locating initially challenging as there are 2 Harry's road. (Perhaps was once one road) stay close to the Hungry Jacks side of Moggil Rd to find the hotel and parking close to railway side.

The Essence Taringa is a loverly place to stay, I have stayed here three times two for work and once for a rest, each time I have stayed in different rooms, the first was a standard room, but it was very spacious and suitable for two poeple with a dedicated lounge area, the second time was a upgraded room, but I did not think this was as spacious as the first, and the third I booked the same room as the first, but got allocated another room that again was smaller than the first two. All rooms and service were excellent and I love the accommodation, I would have just performed the bigger room that overlooked the road, not the daycare. The staff were fabulous and again I would recommend this accommodation. 👌

The best check in service I’ve had in a long time and I’ve stayed in what are meant to be 5 star hotels. Great value for money. If the out of town location isn’t an issue then I’d look no further. Excellent

This is a great location, don't tell too many people.
The 'cafe' downstairs isn't 'just a Cafe', the creative menu and quality of the food, plus service was superb.
We stayed a couple of nights, the interconnecting rooms worked a treat for myself and my 6ft sons.
Room facilities were great, traffic on the Anzac long weekend was OK. 'Looks bad, bit it moves better than southern capitals!' We drove and the parking underneath was easy.
Forgot my coat, Reception were great, 'its in the post!'
We'll be back.

This is our second stay over experience.

Firstly I’d like to thank the Essence Suites Taringa, Management & Staff for having ready a beautiful suite - 2bd, all accessible bathroom, for myself and miss S who is wheelchair dependent. To be honest it’s very difficult to source in Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast respite accomodation for high needs individuals that actually have a fully accessible roll in bathroom with grab rails. I’m not joking. On booking via phone the assistant remembered who we were from our previous visit. Thank you for that. The cafe staff remembered us also. Wow.

NB - for ease of mind, there is secure parking under the building for a very affordable price.

I’m a believer that if you don’t ask, don’t expect or assume that it’s your right to demand extra. The staff were very helpful on all fronts when I needed something specific or extra. For 3 nights stay over, we didn’t need rooms with massive city views. Since we live rural, my preference is accommodation that is central proximity to all essentials, practical and within a price point budget.

I had a great 1 night stay. The staff were really friendly and kind. There was an affordable vending machine in the lobby with some snacks and soda in which was handy. Housekeeping had done a great job in the room - clean, tidy, and comfy! The bed was well made and kitchenette tidy.
The city view was nice from the room. The room was well soundproofed and quiet.
My only criticism would be the TV set was dated & the Freeview on-demand services severely lacking. Would love to see Netflix or an easy to use phone/laptop to screen casting option in the future!

Absolutely amazing service! We booked to stay for our wedding and had a few rooms for bridal party and guests and Amber went above and beyond for us! Always checking in making sure everything was perfect. It made the whole morning of a wedding very relaxing, she even booked the guest lounge for our hair and make up and returned our stuff to our room when we had to run off. I will be recommending this place to everyone. Thank you so much!

The room was exactly as displayed on the website, comfy and clean. All staff were friendly and helpful but Arin and Salman went above and beyond with service. Could not have asked for a better place to stay.

My partner and I had stayed with our bridesmaids and groomsmen at the Essence Suites Taringa on the 16th-18th of July. The service they had provided was nothing more than fantastic and are truly amazed with Christine and the other staff members with how they catered to our every need. They had also gone above and beyond with the addition of the conference room for the brides and grooms to get ready in for our special day, also small things like parking, extending our room times, letting one of our bridesmaids babies sleep in the room with an extension whilst we go ready and setting up Jayde (Bride) and my room for us after our wedding with complementary gifts and decorations. I would highly recommend this suite/hotel to anyone who is after incredible service and nice and clean rooms!
Also the cafe at the suite was great in affordability, taste and service!

Fabulous stay. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate requests and were incredibly friendly. The city view studio I stayed in had a great view and was spotless. Location is very handy to quickly jump on the train and be in the city within minutes, or walkable to nearby medical appointments.
